@arcticf0x8 I don't think L4D beta looked "horrible" I think it looked cool being more dark and gritty. Though the current B-film look of L4D is awesome and what I originally loved. I would still love to see the beta reincarnated as DLC. Maybe it can happen now that Turtle Rock Studios is independent again.

The new special infected are different because it's a different region with different behaviors.

The hunters in the south don't need sleeves and tape because it's too hot, so they tore them off.

The smokers in the south have mabye a sort of fungal thing going on and the warm tempatures are making the infection worse.

In this beta build:

-You can see Infected hands as you run and it takes up more space on screen

-Hunter can lunge (not pounce) and claw faster (He can still lunge in coop mode but not versus)

-Boomer bile can reach farther distances

-Smoker, well he failed XD but I'm guessing that his pull was 5x faster and that he could maybe emit some black smokescreen?

-You can choose your Infected class

-Death animations and Infected sounds were more realistic

-HUD had a beta feel

-Footsteps are CSS-like
