  • What's ever one's problem? God may have them breeding w/o human intervention in the wild, but just like human's have a higher success rate at births by using doctors. Breeders have a higher success rate by intervening.

  • @Glovanator i got a question why did the babies come out of the mouth dos it keep the eggs in its mouth or what

  • @pjo17 yes when the female lays the eggs, the male picks up the eggs in its mouth untill the eggs hatch

  • rubbish fish

  • @evofuck americans

  • @shacklock Dumbass American*

  • its exhausted

  • @sgmentalist Because they tranquilize it, duh.

  • yep aro will swallow their frys so this y. this the true in the s.e.a we do this if u don believe most of the breeder do this

  • yo y does the mature aro swim like that at 1:33 ?

  • they tranq the fish... check part 1

  • neat

  • Is there a reason why they can't wait for the mother to release the fry on her own? Will she just swallow them or something? She seemed to be really stressed afterward, but then recovered fairly quickly...

  • This Aquarama expo is to show the an eye opening of the public ,how the male brooder Arowana's incubate the cycle of eggs to larvae stage for 2 months ,and the skillful Arowana owner will pry open the male's brooder mouth to release the baby arowana with special care. .No worries :0)

  • Oh geez I hate this. I can't help but feel bad for the Arowana.

  • nah in singapore we will help them to release their egg from the mouth so they use a rtg or a hbrtg to show u guys how they harvest the egg

  • Are they selling the fishs?

  • poor fish

  • looks extremly unperfessional

  • thats ow its done stop whinning its their fish that they hav eput a lot of effort and money into if it was realy that ba di dont think they would do that to their fish

  • So in the wild is it like monkeys, or is it god that rips them out of the water forces their mouth open and shakes them to release the fry?

  • its vlearly nothing like the wild but the fish isn't likke a wild fish either people have been doing this for a very long time and i promise you that, that aro would be fine after an hour

  • Jeez, is human intervention really necessary? Cock fighting comes to mind.

  • Yeah, I would just let nature do it's thing. It would be a shame if they damaged that arowana by taking it out of the water and making her release the fry so forcefully. : (

  • There are a lot less stressful ways to get a female to release her brood. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets damage to her eyes and slime coat from when he grabbed her!

  • It's a male...not female. Male arowanas carry their young in the mouth.

  • None the less, I still think the procedure is unnecessary and risky.

  • very nice.
