  • bit iceing and cake there i think,ha ha bosssssss

  • never seen stevie play a double necked guitar. greg rollie sounds damned good. great two note range there los lobos dude-jeez. and as always no talent "percussionists" (not drummers) tryin to steal the spotlight away from real musicians.

  • @HSECMAN i dont think the band would agree

  • never seen stevie play a double necked guitar. greg rollie sounds damned good. great two note range their los lobos dude-jeez.

  • never seen stevie play a double necked guitar. greg rollie sounds damned good

  • never seen stevie play a double necked guitar

  • Yeah do it!

  • ...AND Greg Rolie on vocals and organ! Holy shit, I'd love to see and hear a cleaner print of this.

  • holy fucks.....yeah!

  • I'll be dipped!!! Where did this come from. Had some trouble loading it but, WOW, just when ya think you've heard it all, a masterpiece like this comes around. Thanks so much, can't tell you how much I enjoy this.

  • yeah, just do it!@you

  • Stevie's fingers are flying! Too bad the sound isn't better.

  • whoa! fantastic! never knew it existed either, thank you for posting!

  • ohhh great vidio ...congratulation thanks

  • lmao george lopez on the keys

  • not such a great recording-audio not so hot-but all that aside this is a GEM

Stevie Ray Vaughn Jummy Vaughn Sanatna and Los LObos-wowowowowow!

  • Some kind of GROOVE--yet echoing through this big old Universe.

  • When the drums come in at 1:29 it just sounds so powerful, and you can really tell how strong and disciplined Santana's rhythm sections have to be. One of the things I've always appreciated about Santana is the way he's brought drumming to the front in popular music.

  • @owlcu That's exactly right- 1:29 and 7:01 are what it's all about- AND the Vaughn Bros. AND Los Lobos AND Carlos...

  • Wow. Wow!

    What a moment.

  • Is there an album with this recording ?

  • SRV level is too low in the mix, but this is a real gem. I recall when this show came to LA and glad someone has tape of it.

  • Which one is SleepyEddieJames?

  • That was the shit. I love Carlos, and Stevie Ray. They put out such good vibrations. love love love love lovelovelovelove

  • who's singin' cuz Gregg Rolie rocked on the studio but this is great . . I ain't got my glasses on . . lol

  • git 'em on dude!

  • . . right . .I should use my ears . . who cares what music LOOKS like? . .lol

  • @GregERobertson that is Greg Rolie.

  • Santana say "no more us and them, unity" we are all one with the universe, separation is the biggest illusion ever!

  • @HealingVibrations you couldnt say it any better.

  • awesome !!!

  • Holy cow! Great clip featuring some heavies gettin' down. Love this song, too. Santana III record is a classic.

  • jimmie and stevie two masters in the same field but couldn't be more different in what they di and who they where!!

  • holy triumveret lol

  • my godness i had no clue this existed!!!

now this is a gem!! wow!!

  • the emperors should have sued santana for stealing from Karate from them, that is karate with coster on organ instead of milton brown and trrone moss on drums

  • carlos' strap fell off but he still ripped a godly solo

  • Stevie and Carlos were going to tour together, probably in 1991.Stevie and brother Jimmie were gearing up for the family style tour first.

  • I have audio of Stevie and Carlos playing and encore jam together in December of 1989, pretty good stuff. But to see those two together would have been awesome. Along with a new Stevie album!

  • why is jimmi all the time like WTF??

  • Good Lord! Everything's going on all the time! What a performance...Please excuse me as I am a brand-new Santana fan, but the drummer is AMAZING!!!

    Thanks from Memphis Tennessee!

  • It was October 3rd not October 2nd, I was the house photographer at Pacific Amphitheater at the time and remember it was the third because it was Stevie's birthday ,, Check out my Facebook page for photo's of the show

  • Santana,Stevie n Jimmy Vaughan!

    What more can u ask???????

    awesome.

  • A magical blowjob from a hooker genie. That would be a nice wish. But I guess this will just have to suffice.

  • this is a rare video, dont see santana in stevie in the same jam to much huh? thats awesome!

  • Was , David Brown on bass, in Santana's

    reunion tour!

    PepeD1951

  • I sometimes think that Carlos "plugs into God", then he fucking wails.......

  • Does anybody have ANY idea where I can download this show?

  • nope.

  • This is from santana's reunion tour where he got members from the original Santana band to tour. Greg Rolie on organ & vocals, Chepito Areas on timbales, Mike Shrieve on drumset,Mike Brown on bass.Non original members that I see are Armando Perraza congas,Chester Thompson keys,Raul Rekow congas. Guest are SRV (RIP),Jimmie Vaughn,Cesar Rojas (Los Lobos) My guess is '89 or '90 Los Lobos were big at that time. Nice jam audio is bad though peace

  • Those guys, all of them, are fucking awesome musicians!!! That was an incredible Jam session if I ever heard one!!! Long live all of these guys-SRV, your music lives forever. I only wish, SRV had done some spiritual stuff in his life like Elvis had.

  • This video is AMAZING....Great Great Musicians..God himself is proud!! lol... Nothing but talent..

  • Two guitar gods on stage...bow down!!!

  • K buen concierto

  • This is great. Amazing the way all of these guitarist and other musicians just jam this tune. Santana always have a way of allowing the other musicians shine, no matter how talented they are.

  • I would be nice to hear Stevie Ray Vaughan...santana's good but you can't compare him to Stevie that's like comparing a ford pinto to a Ferrari night and day boys night and days!

  • El mas grande rockero de latinoamerica de todos los tiempos

  • muted!

  • i just born to late... wish i was born round 50's.. maybe 60's :P

the i'd was able to witness this all

  • . . I was born in '60. 'twas good ..

  • Stevie could play anything. Stevie and Carlos, incredible!!! Jimmie did a damn good job too!

  • good to hear stevie stretchin his legs with some latin rythms

  • anyone know what year this was?

  • I think 1989-1990 by the look of SRV's suit and bolero hat. Also the Santana band member point to that period. I am more partial to say 1990.

At the end of the video one can see Armando Peraza. Nice.

  • This is 1988, not 1989 or 1990!

    I am 100% for sure!

  • 5:20, you can see Jimmie looking over to Santana like cmon... time for my solo. Love how Santana quiets the rest of the band down just for Jimmie. Best solo I've heard from Jimmie in a long time when playing with his brother.

so many potent guitarists in that video. RIP SRV

  • hey supralee nothing wrong with a jam.

  • right nothing wrong:)can we jam:)

  • only here to talk shit , eh?

  • hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha, i feel sorry for you...wish you could understand music

  • obviously you have never heard latin music. or maybe you have never heard good music

  • Holy gesmokes...this has to be my favorite Santana song. Amazing. I saw Santana as !opening act! for my all time hero --Eric Clapton--in August 1975. God Bless you, Carlos... RIP SRV..Thank you Los Lobos...Jeff Wilson, age 52, Portland, Oregon USA

  • Carlos Santana isn't dead, he's like 60 or 61

  • try being in marching band and marching and playing this song to this tempo!!!

  • id rather not because that would make me a fat loser

  • LFMAO!!

  • hahahahaha

  • hey everyone

our band this year is playing this song as part of our show

    the salute to santana

    check us out

    Black and Gold

  • lol we are playing it too

  • my skool jazz bands plaing this

  • thanks!!!...I was there..great times in costa mesa

  • Armando Peraza & Chepito Areas on percussion!!!

    YEAH!!!

  • what a bandstand!!

  • Santana,The Vaughn Brothers, and Los Lobos. This was an awesome colaboration. Probably the only time these guys played together. Thanks for putting it up.

  • The guitarist seem like they were thrown in from out of nowhere on this song - all are equally lost. Worth watching, though, because Gregg Rollie, who sang Everybody's Everything on Santana III and then left the band a year later, is killing on vocals - amazingly,he sounds as he good when the song was recorded more than 15 years before this performance.

  • what year was this??? and where???

  • Probably in Texas or Los Angeles. And sometime in the later 80's. Perhaps 1987-1988.

  • Guitars aside...to see Armando and "Chepito"...was worth the watching.

    Not kidding.

  • and wow madaxeman, i like how u call me a jealous prick. Anyone whos picked up a guitar is jealous of these cats. No one who has an IQ above metally retarted actually thinks that they are better than these guys, and ur a fuckin idiot for not knowing that or sensing the most BLATANT example of sarcasm imaginable

  • whoa..um, it was a sarcastic joke these are like the best guitarists on the planet and tehres no way in fucking hell id ever dream of being that good. haha thekillerinside i think ur mommy needs to get u some medicine to help with ur period and yeast infections, u freak chill the fuck out.

  • freshaustino mabey you are better than them all combined when nobody is around

  • there's allways some jealous prick with a stupid ass comment, there should be a separate section for the butthole's comments,SRV's music will never die!

  • Neal Schon owns the guitar solo to this song. Just not for Stevie, tho if he had gotten it sorted out in advance he, SRV Main Man, could've matched the original. The Lobos man's a stinger--great workin'! Jimmie rocks, too.

  • yo, TheKillerInside is definetly right!

I think here you can also see the difference between Stevie and many others: the passion. Stevie always 100% straight! He is still the greatest guitarist, dead or alive. Unbelievable!

But in this song it is the first time he isnt really putting trough. But watch SRV and Jeff Beck and you hear what I mean.

  • We play this song in marching band.

  • u asshole if u r better than all of them why havent i heard of u yet. yeah exactly u r nobody tryin to be somebody by putting down others. I know u suck because a good guitarist dosnt have to brag he knows that he is good and tries to learn from other guitarist whenever he can. A good guitarist should be able to walk into a room and every body knows it by the way he carries himself or acts not by the way he brags.

  • who cares?

  • i think "freshaustino" was having a little joke, which is made funnier by your reaction

  • im a better guitarist then all of them combined

  • Air guitar doesn't count...

  • Wow! Also Alphonzo Johnson on Bass!

  • iv never seen this, freaking cool. :)

  • Yeah so cool, hearing stevie in a completely different environment....

  • hahaha awesome, stevie is using that danelectro double neck!! awesome!

  • of course!

  • is this Greg Rollie?

  • FUCKING GREAT
