It s incredible the number of american series i see when i was young, in France we see the most part of american series with 1 or 2 years after ( time to translate ). US still the best in series, so much choice!! 50% minimum of my "movies culture" come from US.
from what I can remember they nearlly always landed at a signifigant point in history , not on a wet wednesday at a supermarket. I suppose that would be a bit dull, though
I watched this show side by side with my Dad. It was cool and so much fun back in the day. Too bad only one season. Thank goodness for DVD. Always loved Whit Bessel as he was the senior man at the controls. All would be OK. Love the 60's shows.
Oh Damn, look at that Lee Merriweather at 0:41 seconds. Now that's hat I'm talkin about! In all her glory, this lady could stop traffic in Times Square if she walked down the street looking like that!
My fave episode of TTT was when they travelled back to the time of Jericho's fall, and were hidden under the flax by Rahab. Great episode. Hope one day I'll be able to see at least a morsel of it on YT.
@benhurfanclub i was just thinking about that episode. it's about the only one i truly recall vividly, especially since i attended parochial school. i was floored that they recreated that episode in time... basicaly proving that the old testament was true! Amazing!
@flowerstar36 Yeah it was a good one. I'd sure like to see it again because, oddly enough, I don't remember the fall that well. Just the part up on Rahab's roof, and the older guy in the lab being astonished over the whole thing.
Allen would save money by useing the same props in all of his shows of the time "Time Tunnel", "Voyage to the Bottopm of the Sea", "Lost in Space". Not to mention scenes from past movies such as "Forbidden Planet". (The pictures of the underground complex)
I loved this show,I could not wait for the next episode each week. I would commender the tv every friday night to catch my show. I would travel with them every friday night. Cudos to them.
@bradebunch i don't recall it being on friday pm where we ived - ny, no, no. perhaps sunday? i thoght it was real... what do you expect fro a kid in 1965, at age 6? haha :)
DOS CIENTÍFICOS SE ENCUENTRAN PERDIDOS EN EL LABERINTO VÓRTICE DEL PASADO Y DEL FUTURO EN EL PRIMERO EXPERIMENTO MAS GRANDE Y MAS SECRETO EL TUNEL DEL TIEMPO .....
It was funny that even though the "time machine" was broken and sent them back and forth in time randomly, it always managed, somehow, to send them to some important event in human history.
It never, for instance, sent them back to a farm in Iowa in 1873 or something like that.
I loved this show when I was a kid. I wonder if anyone is considering a remake of the show with more moderan updates. Did they ever make it back from time travel? Was there any plans for them to bring Tony and Doug back from time travel?

The tunnel prop used on the set is very impressive and gives the illusion of being ''endless ''
when viewed from different angles in different promo shots, particularly front on and in black
white, as some of the pics in this clips show very well!

They tried to go back into the time when Bill Clinton was still faithful to Hillary but the time machine overheated!
