  • Chapter 1 : An Intact Woman : "You don't need a hysterectomy. It can do you more harm than good. /// Those are strong words, but the fact is that more than 90 percent of hysterectomies are unnecessary. Worse, the surgery can have long-lasting physical, emotional, and sexual consequences that may undermine your health and well-being..." Fr. "The Hysterectomy Hoax" (1994) by Stanley West, M.D. with Paula Dranov

  • After removel of uterus, does a woman enjoy sexual inter course?

  • i had that 7 years a go! I Love my life now!!!

  • I had a hysterectomy and it was done laproscopically. Three tiny little incisions and it was over. It was easier and less painful than a lot of dental procedures I've had, including a filling. I was up and driving the nurses crazy the next day. If possible, please opt for the laproscopic procedure. You'll be so happy you did.

  • wtf? how does a girl pee then if this happens?

  • hysterectomy does not affect the urinary system (the one involved with removing body waste by 'peeing') at all. it goes through an entirely different path or tract, as we call it in medicine.

after the removal of the uterus, only the reproductive function of a woman, and the body's ablitity to replace certain hormones is altered.

  • @MrOnionRing Unlike men, women have separate openings for urinary and reproductive functions. When the reproductive organs are removed, the urinary function is not affected, unless the surgeon is a hack. You need to take some basic health classes.
