i have a ho scale one of these but it looks completly different then mine but i have a small train set and i've had it for 8 years and the motor mount is comepletly off but i put the motor back together and put tape around it and it worked but its noisy so i may have to get a new motor mount for it
NS bought the DC version. They have SD70M-2s. Same goes for CN. If ATSF were around they would have the M-2 too. They bought SD75s instead of SD70MACs
These were frequently used for power during 2007 and 2008 on the CN's GTW mainline. Now that there is less traffic in 2009 the NS SD70M-2s are not too frequent on the CN.
Not to be critical or anything but, trainmasterryan, that is an SD70M-2. The railroad that received SD70M-2's were NS and CN. The railroads that received SD70ACe's were UP, CSX, BNSF, and KCS. Nice engine btw.
Yeah I just checked My=MTH and it says that they will be shipped Feb 9th but itll take a while to get to walthers then to me. But it will be the wait I have the Norfolk Southern 2649 ordered, so when I get it I'll make a vid of it.
The box it came in said SD70M-2, so that's what I labeled it as. Besides, the underside of this unit clearly shows the ZX7A Flux Capacitor, which was only available on the SD70M-2. The SD70ACe has a ZX7B Flux Capacitor. Duh! Relax, I'm only kidding.
IF the question is directed toward me, "buggiecar" is an all around great kid and we`ve chatted many times on here....I think he`s OK, and remark such as the above was to "reassure" him we`ll always be "Train pals".... "Thats it" *I hope you did`nt read more into it, and sorry for You more if you did.
Can you pull more cars with this engine or your NS AC6000?

No, I'm not pissed or anything. I've just never heard the phrase "I'd give you a key of your own Son" before. What does that mean?
