I waited nearly 30 years to see these guys play a live set, and in the space of two nights i saw Carl dixon ( Acoustic), AND Coney Hatch.... Plus i got to meet them all too. It`s the thing that rock and roll dreams are made of. Thanks guys.
god bless you jetbax13 i bet your where (and still are) a rock chick babe
rock chicks always floated my boat (and still do) spandex and hi heels or maybe some leather, yep the girls and the music was all i needed, no drugs, not even a big drinker but certainly the best years of my life, take care babe, hope you have a good guy looking after you
I am 50 this year and can say with all honesty that the 80's produced the best music I have ever heard, it was genuine honest and most of all original. every time I listen to the 200 or so fav rock tracks it transports me back to a time before i became ill and disabled, I was even quite a good looking guy, and they where the best years of my life, the UK rock scene was strong with Maxim's-Wigan and Jilly's- Manchester, we lived for the weekend, i'm glad I was part of such a great scene Taz
@tazkb I can so relate to you...I too am battling a disabling condition called "Chiari 1 Malformation and Syringomyelia", but back in the 80's I looked like a fashion model, turned heads, went to many concerts and really enjoyed myself...time sucks but the memories live forever.
remember listening 2 this on tommy vances friday nite rock show in 85 or 86 when i was 15 years old still a fukin great song and a great distinctive singer
Ah, a great Era, I used to love sitting up with the Friday Rock show, found so many great bands on there, these, Y&T, Coney Hatch, The Honeymoon Suite etc
I like the lighting of the picture...esp bro in the back! His face is symbolic of life as a whole. It contrasts the darkness of life with that of the lucidity. A ying-yang effect...light vs dark..good vs evil...i dunno if they meant to make his face that way (probably not lol)..but very thoughtful and philosophical!! I go to Glamour Shots portrait studio in mall tomorrow and try to replicate cool mustache man in back image! I probably won't come to nearly 20% of awesomeness, but I will try!

a virtually unheard of band from an ERA where a lot of real crappy bands got famous .. i really don't think there was a bad song on this album

Saw them the summer of '83 with Fastway and Iron Maiden. Always felt they were underappreciated.

I remember being 17 years old and secretly driving my folks car from Toronto to Spanky's in Brampton, to see Coney Hatch.. on a school night! LOL
43 now..but still remember them being one of the best sounding live bands I've ever heard. Exactly like their records!
Amazing voice Carl! Love you guys! Thanks! :)
