  • honestly, not the drum and bass I was expecting, but still cool.

  • if anyone has a drum station or bass station rack for $200... hit me up.

  • How do you make the sounds.

  • That 2nd tune is really nice...like the vari-pitched hi-hats

  • Helloo,

They sound fantastic, you've convinced me to keep an eye out for them on ebay !!

    Cheers

  • i have the bass station vst and it has that classic synth bass sound thats so hard to find. one that dont sound like crap

  • I am quite interested in the CVgate/MIDI function. Do they both have it?

It seems like a better deal than a Kenton. Since you get the synth too,

Are there other synths with this function?

  • Really like the 2nd part. How did you sequence the drum station?

  • @beeboped using cubase sx3 and some realtime tweaking.

  • Hi. A little question.

Do you have to send a signal by a keyboard to make the bass station play or are you using a keyboard?

  • suche die reset tastenkombination fuer die Novation Drumstation ?????please help?????!!!!!!!!!

  • Loving this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The opening tune sounds like Telefon Tel Aviv.

I am totally getting one of these and an SH-32.

    Analog synths rock.

  • very nice! I love it when those pads come in, sounds so nice

  • I made a Cubase device panel for the drumstation so I can use it like a VSTI.

  • Hi, i'm looking at getting the drum station, and I was wondering, do you need anything to trigger/programme it? I'm new to making music, and the only piece of equipment I own is the MicroKorg XL.

    Thanks! :)

  • electronic blah

  • nice twiddling man. i got me a super one and there ace for the price a total bargain actually. what r u sequencing the novations with ?

  • Iactually just sold them, but we used the CV gate + DIN sync for old analogue stuff.

I normally sequence in Cubase or Reaper.

  • Well, the microkorg can be described as a "normal" synth for overall use because of polyphony (more tones to be played at the same time). The Korg ES1 is a sampler.

The Bass Station is monophonic (only one tone) and is very good for minimal lead sound, Bass or strange sound scape sounds.

Or did i misunderstand something here?

  • Hey, this may be a dumb question, but i'll ask it anyway. (I'm a beginner)

Do you need a keyboard/(midi)synthesizer for a rack like the bass station? Or do you need to program it just like a tb-303 for example? Can you explain please the diffrent between a rack and a key synthesizer please?

    And btw, nice vid! :)

  • Well, you need either a sequencer (hardware or software) or a controller.

Rack = can be mounted in a rack and usually without keys.

    Keyboard = With keys.

  • Well, I have a korg es-1 and a microkorg.

What did use for the bass station?

    thx

  • Nice work :)

  • i'd like to run it through a wah wah pedal and a boss distortion pedal with the tempo all the way up... is it analog?

  • It is analog :)

  • Awesome sounds man!

    Few questions tho =P

Im lookin to get a Bass Station rack (currently bidding on ebay), I was just wondering how filthly a sound can be generated from the Osc's? and how many programs can be saved?

    Thanx dude!

  • It holds 99 programs/preasets for out to edit(save).

It can be dirty/filthy, but I would add some distortion or bitcrusher.

Depending on what sound you need ;)

  • It can be dirty'n'filthy - it's all about the tweaking. It can hold 99 program as far as I remember.
