I can easily explain this! Though I am a strong believer in UFO's this is not one! It is a chinese fire lantern and they have become increasingly popular in the UK in the last few years. People usually set them off at BBQ's in the summer on on guy fawkes night, NYE. They are often mistaken for UFO's. They have recently been nicknamed UFO ballons because of this. People should look into things with more care. Too often we jump to conclusions and see extrordinary where there is just ordinary!
We saw a similar thing we think on Boxing Day late afternoon. We even saw them again last night but there were two last night. I dont believe they are lanterns!
I can sadly confirm these are chinese lanterns ....it was me who let them off from rosedale road grays newyear bizniz....but keep watching the sky....back in 1994 everyone in rosedale road early summer evening was watching a huge glowing round light moving from west to east ,impossible to gauge size ,after 10 mins of seeing it ,it darted off at angles n disapeared ,.5 mins after 3 RAF fighter jets circled the area then cleared off ...who knows? noone til they land in trafalgar square
It is a Chinese Lantern. The effect (shape) as has already been pointed out is caused by the video camera itself. Watch the following video on how the camera interprets light sources. You Tube is full of such videos showing swirling orbs and diamonds all classed as UFOs.

It shows a planet with the shape defined by the camera effect.
The diamond shape appears on extreme zoom, and it is a characteristic of the diaphagm(aperture control) inside the camera. Many vids show this effect. Notice how the object appears round as the camera zooms out
to all lantern-believers, this is not lantern, i live in country where noone in whole town has such a thing, and i see this almost on a daily basis!!!..this is definitely ufo...
hesus mighst loads these keep getting mistaken time and time again for ufo's its seriuosly rubbish THEY ARE CHINESE LANTERNS I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT AS IMPORT THEM THESE FALSE ASSUMPTIONS MUST STOP

Watch the following video. Even Police helo crews can be fooled by them. If you have never seen one then of course it will cause confusion.
You can even see the burning heat source flickering at the bottom of the lantern.
