Good one. I'm from Michigan and it's true. Everyone in country is feeling sorry for the Gulf Coast states because of oil spill - but the damage BP did to those states is nothing compared to what the Auto Companies, the Unions, and the Democrats did to Michigan. And another thing - these whiny fishermen and shrimpers - they talk about how they won't be able to make a living any more, well, you're pretty damn lucky to have been able to take FREE fish from OUR ocean and sell it anyway!
I love my town but I am planning on leaving once I finish school. I only say that because I have friends that moved to alabama and that is the way they treat them.
We might be doing some new footage. The problem has gotten worse. We must join the Michigan Militia and rise in mutiny. We shall secede the union and unite with our brothers north of the border. Yes, bum fuck Canada. Guess I'll have to work on my Rickyisms boys. Forgit abooot it.
@tubbymanbat Sad to say this in a way but don't use that terminology like that, I live in Phoenix and we have to many fucking border jumpers as is, but on a serious note you moving to Arizona would help out this state greatly, leave behind a dead state and come live in a state that's revving up and kicking ass, recession what recession, nobody here acts like it ever happened. I love the desert.

Damn, Michigan, I really do feel for you. It's not as bad here in California, but many people are out of jobs, and we have to stand there and watch some douchebag drive by in a brand new Ferrari. I guess we know where America's money went.
When they put the required insurance premium prices into effect and nobody can afford to pay them, I guess that means that the rest of the Michigan populace will be put in jail.
Well my parents were both born there but Michigan from my standpoint of view has always had one of the weaker economies. As a truck driver everytime I went to MI it was hard to get good loads out of there so that sort of tells the story right there and this was before the collapse. My grandparents lived through the depression there.
I'm surprised anyone still even lives in Michigan. Even before this collapse, it wasn't what you could call paradise, was it? Between that and the fact that your winters are COLD, I dunno. Go west, young men, and south a bit. Mebbe go to Mexico. I hear all their skilled labor is moving away. Michigan. Damn. ='[.]'=
Paul I hope things turn around for you man... You guys should leave michigan... come to DC. We havent felt the impact much. We are still in good shape.
