In the shariy'ah, if a man divorces his wife, he must pay for her fodd, clothing , and shelter for the whole next year.
There are provisions in the shariy'ah for these occurances. If the shariy'ah is not being executed properly, that is a fault in the people executing it, but the shary'ah is Divine and without fault.

Why are the fathers not in jail? Don't Islamic countries punish men who abandon their children? In the West, the woman can easily open a case against him..the court shuts down the father's bank account and gives the money to the woman, or if he never showed up to court he goes to jail. Everyone knows the law, so men always show up and pay. If he denies that he is the father, he is required to take a blood test. 5 bedrooms for herself and 4 divorced daughters, each having four to seven children. That's 27 people in one house ( 22 kids plus five adults). Women should go to work; For this to happen they need to not have so many kids that they cannot possibly have a chance of supporting in case of desertion (E.g. if they had two or three each, then half the 4 women could work and the other half could watch the kids).

In the shariy'ah, if a man divorces his wife, he must pay for her fodd, clothing , and shelter for the whole next year.
There are provisions in the shariy'ah for these occurances. If the shariy'ah is not being executed properly, that is a fault in the people executing it, but the shary'ah is Divine and without fault.

Divorce women is not as easy as u think. it has strict rule and a man can't divorce his wife without any reasonable reasons. if his wife is good there is no reason to divorce her. It's not the law to be blamed but the person who apply it. And Saudi government forbids women to drive is not islamic issue either. Women who lived in Prophet time could ride camel or horse.
