  • LOL introduced him to easther

  • It's funny, but the ending was foreshadowed.

Fred spent a huge amount of time preparing Bowleg's favorite meal, but it turns out he forgot what his favorite meal is.

Or maybe I'm just inserting non-existent foreshadowing lol

  • @Rezxer but that was the start

  • Lamont bustin it lol

  • isnt Freds partner an actor from Cuckoos nest playing the night watchman?

  • @LENUS2 Thats Scatman Crothers man , hes a Legend , did the voice for Hong Kong Fooey too , and one of the Skatebirds

  • @mrthundaboots Wow,I just noticed that! lol

  • In the audience is Esther, and she's not with Woody. She was cheating. You can see her at 40 with the dude and better at 4:10.

  • @hotterthanpeppa The string bass

  • The club owner tells legendary singer Billy Eckstein to "forget about singin'"! LOL!

  • Even though Bowleg introduced Esther to Fred and not Elizabeth Fred still wouldn't have met Elizabeth if it weren't for Bowleg. If Fred hadn't have met Esther he probably wouldn't have met Elizabeth so he still kinda owes Bowleg.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that Demond Wilson (Lamont) dances to? It's a cool little jazzy piece but can't identify it.

  • Fred sounds TIRED,lol

  • The club owner was EXTREMELY annoying! If I was the audience I would have thrown tomatoes at him. Surely that bouncer couldn't take on the entire audience!

  • love this episode, the singing andgiutar playing and dance, all offit just wonderful

  • he's walking, He's walking!!!! LMAO!

  • Must be "jelly" cause jam don't shake like that!

  • @rshandy I LOVE THAT EPISODE WHEN FRED SUNG THAT AND HE THREW IN THE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • lamont pimpin lol

  • This show is funny! I wish they could have shown flashback scenes of Fred with his wife elizabeth when Lamont was a baby. Or flashback scenes when Lamont was a child and Fred was raising him alone...that would have been funny to see!

  • @cutecherryangel13 Yeah like on "Ebenezer Sanford" with Fred as a kid, lol!

  • @cutecherryangel13 Yeah like on "Ebenezer Sanford" with Fred as a kid, lol!

  • The club owner was kinda annoying getting up on the stage, he ruined some of the performance.

Lamont surprised me, he was good, a lil stiff, but good...

  • Jelly jelly jelly...

  • Bow Legs, Fred, and Lamont all have skills

  • Lol! Lamont's got skills!

  • When he found out he introduced him to Esther, he shouldve sicked Jack Nicholson on him , hehe!

  • I Love when he starts scatting in that song what the hell is the name of that song anyone know?

  • The guy singing wasn't bad at all. The club owner is a punk telling him to forget about singing.

  • Great talent from the late greats Redd Foxx and Scatman Crothers. Very funny.

  • From 6:57 - 6:59 Fred looked so gangster with his movements & everything! =D

  • Man, this made my day! thanks!!!

  • This is my favorite episode.... I sampled that tap dance sound bite years ago.. made a crazy track back in '94.

  • lmfao @ hit it his face was like imma kill him later when we get home

  • He's walkin'! He's walkin'!

  • haha I hope that guy is singing about a girl named Jelly not the Jelly i`m thinking of.

I like every episode that lamont taps cos he is the coolest i`ve see so far. he is always laid back

  • "That guy singing' was Billy Eckstine, and He wrote 'Jelly Jelly.' He was a hugely popular, successful and influenctial bop/ big band bandleader/ singer in the 1940s.

  • @LitCrit101 wow really?...thats wonderful

  • @LitCrit101 He's got some serious licks!

  • @LitCrit101 Wasn't there an episode of Sanford and Son called "Blind Mellow Jelly" about Fred's collection of records by that singer? I had seen the Jelly episode and then when I heard a singer in this episode singing about jelly I just assumed that was the same man whose record collection Fred wanted to sell! Can't be a coincidence!

  • @gardogg65 Lol! But if you remember in the "Blind Mellow Jelly" episode it was stated that Blind Mellow Jelly had been dead for 30 years and Bubba was his "son".

  • @LitCrit101 THE SOLID GOLD GUY ON THE FIFTH DIMENSION WITH MARYLIN M COO

  • yeah, i like that other episode with Rodney

  • That club owner has a scary voice! He reminds me of a Mafia Don! LOL!

  • @Thegrinch17 I think he played a lot of mob roles in TV shows and TV movies, maybe even in big screen movies.

  • @Thegrinch17

I may be wrong on this but I think he played Chicago Outfit Underboss Frank Nitti on the old

"Untouchables" series starring the late Robert Stack
