If Your On Android And Cant See the Blank Animals And You Only See A Bird It's Because You Need To Go Back To The Market And Where It Says My Apps Go There Find Angry Birds And You Should See An Option To Update The App That Will Fix This Problem.

Those that say they have it on the Android I highly doubt as according to the developers there is a bug in the Android version that is fixed with 1.5 which is not out yet for Android.

From Roxio's FAQ on Android:

Q: Why does the egg level 17 not work?

A: This is a bug in version 1.4.2 that is fixed in the next update.

Sorry for the repeat (stupid computers). So just to clarify, what worked for me on my Android was: 1. Touch every single pig in every single row so the pigs faces appear with their eyes closed. 2. Tap on the big red bird at the bottom. 3. Drag the big red bird back and forth across the footsteps in the grass, from left to right and right to left. Then you should get your star. I did. Hooray, all done! This was the best game EVER, kept me totally entertained for 3 months! What am I gonna do now?

FYI, I have the Android version of Angry Birds (MyTouch 3G Slide). I couldn't figure out how to get the star on this golden egg, so I looked at this video. At first I gave up because I read everyone's comments about the issues on Androids. But then I looked at another video demonstration here on youtube, and the trick that got me the star is you have to slide the red bird on the bottom of the screen from left to right and right to left, back and forth, across the footsteps in the grass.

@jagost02 If you're running the PC version, you need to shoot a bird in level 1-8, then type 'OPEN' while it's flying. If you just type 'OPEN', the 'P' will pause the game.

To make the bird wiggle on android phones:

When I start the level after about a second press on the left side of the sun, then after another second, press on the left side of the bird. After some tries you'll get it.

What i'm supposed to do next, I dont know.

EVERYTHING else has worked for me on my Droid, but I have the same problem as others: I have nothing but a big red bird that squawks when you touch him, then disappears. I touch the spot where he was, and he comes back. I don't have the board to fill in as shown in the video. Must be a glitch? Please reply if you have a solution.

I'm on a Droid X on 2.2 and I have the same problem as others on Android. I don't see anything except the red bird. There are no pigs in the background, just the green grass and the sky. When I click on the red bird he opens his eyes and then disappears. Must be a problem with some (or all) Android systems.

If you complete every level with 3 stars and complete every golden egg stage, is there an official ending sequence to this game? I guess Android users will never know unless it's fixed.

On one of my golden egg leeks all there is is three birds lookin at a big beak and when u click the screen he kinda opens hid mouth a little is that all it's supposed to do I have anoter like that where a pig moves his snout???

If, when you first open the screen, you tap the red bird and the sun at the same time you can make him rock back and forth. This won't get you the star, but its better than nothing.

Yeah I have the Droid X too, and all I see is the bird and grass/hills. I think it's probably a goof up on the application. Damn.

on android turn on the sound, the bird makes a sound too, so i'm guessing it has something to do with the music like on # 12! but i have no idea what to do with it x_x

@Wink260 I have the same problem on my Droid. Just a screen with sun/grass and bird disappears and reappears everytime I tap it. Tapped at least 50 times and doesn't do anything and it won't wiggle back and forth either.

For the record, all I had to do was fill in all the pigs, and then pull the red bird all the way to the right to get the star. Thanks for the help!

you have to tap the red bird once to make it's eyes open, then scroll it. doesn't work if their eyes are shut

It's simpler than you say. Just click every pig then scroll the big bird all the way to the top. That's it.

Great walk-through, worked first time! And thanks for getting it up there so fast!  I had tried all manners of completing this except this one of course : ). Can't wait for the next levels to come down now. I think your golden star symbol only comes up the first time you complete it, afterwards you just get the standard completed box. Keep up the good angry bird'ing work!!
