  • Interesting that the map is square instead of hex grid.

  • @shonnerdotcom Yeah, hex was too much of a pain to work with. I barely figured out basic isometry.

  • @SecondVarietyGames Exactly. Hex maps work fine in GRUPS with pencil and paper. But not on a computer in isometric view.

  • This looks fucking awesome. The moment it's out I'll be all over it. I think I'd prefer dialogue options that are skill dependent (or perk/feat dependent) too. That gives more of a feeling of control for the player. Plus it gives something to build towards. Just my two cents.

  • @jotunobsidianeyes Thank you :) And we've been building the framework for dialogue options that are driven by your in-game achievements and stats. I.E. if you killed 10 men in melee combat you may be able to intimidate someone by saying "I killed 10 men with my BARE HANDS!". If its true, they are intimidated. If not, they laugh you off. Things like that.

  • @SecondVarietyGames Hopefully something like that will be based more off of physical stature and charisma/persuasion rather than truth.
