Gilles always came off to me as creepy throughout the entire game, and I was pretty surprised that he didn't turn out to be a villain. XD (I had no knowledge about his real-life alliance with Joan of Arc prior to playing this O_o)
@shinx9491 yea. I've never looked real into it but it's probably one of the most bizarre and sudden changes of one persons character in history. He goes from a soldier who fought along side Joan of Arc to a demented child murderer.
@shinx9491 Well, that's a given he is creepy! Did you not know he becomes a serial killer after Jeanne dies, at least in real life? There is an anime this season called Fate/Zero, in which Gilles and other heroes/villains, like King Arthur, Alexander the Great and Gilgamesh are summoned by modern mages to kill each other like Highlander, it's very good!
Gilles was my favorite (other than Rufus :P) I got him to lvl 99 first.
