  • Man a Morris can own any modern crap car....isn't that what the kids are saying these days "you're owned" lol.....who ever brought up the idea of creating plastic dashboards and plastic engine parts should be ashamed...I love my morris, everything Wood or iron :)

  • he took handle to the knee

  • I didnt know old cars have a GD1/3 Honda jazz interior

    thats totally awesome

  • aw man i dont have one of these on my civic

  • havent had to use the crank handle on my 1965 moggie yet, maybe one day when it gets really old.

  • Oh yes! many a time my battery would be dead in the depths of real winters. Pull the choke the night before just before turning the engine off, one turn away I went. An alternator and a decent battery would have been easier I suppose but batteries where expensive back in the day.

  • I have a 1961 Morris Traveler, I love every minuet of driving it. I\t had been converted to have an alternator instead of the original dynamo, but now the alternator doesn't function so I always have to park on a hill. I wish I could buy a crank starter, but then again I am worried as my mechanic says it's dangerous to use.

  • @priest008 it'll completely die on you without charging

  • @priest008 Your mechanic needs a kick in the bollocks. The crank handle was standard with every Morris 1000. Seek and ye shall find, o ye o little faith...

  • @noushitaisa lol Indeed I have been seeking and I bought the iron handle, but there is nowhere to fit it, he told me I have to buy him the nut which has to be stuck on, then after that I can insert the handle and crank it! :) is it dangerous to do?

  • You will need:

    1 dead battery

    1 crap car

  • I tried to do that, but where do I put the crank in my Corvette?

  • there is the same car right 1 street across from where i live :D

  • Well I don't think this little trick is going to work on anything made in the last 90 years.

  • I went to try this on my Bmw but turning the handle did not make the car start??

  • @jonathonjunkie EU dude... calm down... its not HIS fault that the video isent exactly accordingly to your personal desires... hi made a video.. and you came watching it... now YOU shutup...

  • @Spartan117JMC sorry i was having a bad day, my car would start up. lol I apologize

  • Sensible, I wish all cars had them, then the RAC & AA would go out of business

  • who the fuck even drives that old shet ?

  • @BL0DDY who?.. well those who appreciates it i guess...

  • @BL0DDY

You retard its one of the most popular classics around the world .

  • Love that rasp..

I've got a '67 Minor that sounds identical..

    Good times..

  • idiot

  • Oh yes.Back when cars were simple and not full of engine management computers!

  • The more I look at this I think kI am not doing it perfectly. A kickback would have gone right into my hand, rather than going over the palm of my wrist. Anyway, I was confident my ignition timing was the correct 3 degrees BTDC at standstill, and a coil circuit only sparks when the contact breaker is moved by a bold positivly turning distributor.

  • Nice form.. Thumb under, smooth motion. Very important when hand cranking any engine.

  • Exelente ! ;gracias ,desde argentina .
