That method has been obsolete for decades. The criteria now is brain death, defined as necrosis of cerebral neurons. The fetus doesn't even begin to develop a cerebral cortex until week 26. and the cerebral nerves do not begin to develop until week 28. The vast majority of abortions are performed before week 12.

Where data is available for legal abortion, it can be shown that poor people in general have higher rates of pregnancy, and therefore higher rates of unwanted pregnancy and abortion. They were intent on improving the entire human race. If you actually read Sanger's own words, you will know she was one of these types of eugenicists. You will also know that she broke with the eguenics movement when she resigned as editor of their magazine in 1928.

Women of colour, and poor women generally, have higher rates of abortion because they have higher rates of unwanted pregnancies. This is because poverty impedes access to education and access to birth control.
I initially commented with only facts but since you asked my opinion I feel obliged to reply. Nobody wants to hear this but a simple way to avoid pregnancy is to simply avoid sex. If you aren’t going to avoid sex then practice safe sex. While I empathize with those who are in a low income situation (currently unemployed myself) it is simple biology if men keep it in their pants and women to keep their legs closed, the number of unwanted pregnancies plummets.

Sanger published "The Birth Control Review" asserting 'levels' of dominance people attain before reproduction. She believed clinics in low-income areas were best because in her mind locals didn't meet her 'level' to reproduce, thus helping society clear the gene pool. Thus implementing a form of eugenics.

One of the reasons given was the low survival rate of babies born into poverty. She estimated that the 12th child had a 60% chance of living one year. Having fewer children allows families to devote more of their scarce resources to each individual child, thus ensuring a better survival chance.

Sanger condemned the Nazi race policies right from the start; and her books were burned by the Fascists. She resigned from the Birth Control Review over differences regarding their eugenics policies. Black people are just as free as white people to choose not to use those services. They provide birth control information and services to everyone. They "target" low income neighbourhoods because low income people generally have limited access to education and services. Sanger believed in personal choice in matters of birth control.
Now, if you want my honest opinion I don’t think it is a matter of education or access to birth control (BC) but a matter of respect. PP clinics by design are primarily in low income neighborhoods. If men had more respect for women (and women more respect for themselves) they both would demand the use of BC.

However, there is an issue of respect where men don't respect women OR women don't respect themselves OR a combination of the two ending w sex (sometimes unwanted by one party... sometimes without protection). The children of the poor die from the combined effects of malnutrition and lack of medical care. The larger the family, the less food there is for each member. Children die from malnutrition and its consequences more quickly than adults do. Sanger was talking about conditions in the early part of the 20th century.

That method has been obsolete for decades. The criteria now is brain death, defined as necrosis of cerebral neurons. The fetus doesn't even begin to develop a cerebral cortex until week 26. and the cerebral nerves do not begin to develop until week 28. The vast majority of abortions are performed before week 12.

They were intent on improving the entire human race. If you actually read Sanger's own words, you will know she was one of these types of eugenicists. Latest research indicates that the fetus is not conscious in the womb at all.

You conceive, then approx. two weeks later you are expected to menustruate. One week after that is 21 days. Pregnacy begins at conception. Ectopic pregnancy occur when a baby has not attached to the wall but will continue to develop until the tube ruptures. Hopefully, we will be able to help these little ones in the future.

Well put together. It's nice to see other young people who still know how to fact check. One of the scariest parts of this whole argument is simply how many young woman oppose the right to choose. They don't seem to understand how much fighting had to be done to get us to this point and what is really at stake. The loss of choice and poor sexual education can only result in the next generation of women once again being pushed into the role of second class citizens.

When urban people cannot make enough money to feed themselves or obtain medical services when needed, they are forced to turn to crime to obtain money. Welfare programmes supplement low wages, thus eliminating the need to turn to crime.

I initially commented with only facts but since you asked my opinion I feel obliged to reply. Nobody wants to hear this but a simple way to avoid pregnancy is to simply avoid sex. If you aren’t going to avoid sex then practice safe sex. While I empathize with those who are in a low income situation (currently unemployed myself) it is simple biology if men keep it in their pants and women to keep their legs closed, the number of unwanted pregnancies plummets.

One of the reasons given was the low survival rate of babies born into poverty. She estimated that the 12th child had a 60% chance of living one year. Having fewer children allows families to devote more of their scarce resources to each individual child, thus ensuring a better survival chance.

Sanger condemned the Nazi race policies right from the start; and her books were burned by the Fascists. She resigned from the Birth Control Review over differences regarding their eugenics policies. However, there is an issue of respect where men don't respect women OR women don't respect themselves OR a combination of the two ending w sex (sometimes unwanted by one party... sometimes without protection). This is where the respect comes in.

If you compare the number of black women who get abortions to the total black pop. (or total black female pop.) and do the same for whites it is HEAVILY slanted towards blacks. Roughly 30% of abortions are black and 36% white, while black pop. is 40 million and white is 230 million. Black genocide.

@2groomer In countries where abortion is legal, close to 90% are performed prior to week 12. Of these, most are done by means of vacuum aspirator or Dilation and extraction. These methods destroy the fetus while it is still in the womb. It is not possible for these fetuses to be born alive or whole. In one 10 year period in Britain, only 30 aborted fetuses were born whole, and none were able to sustain life.

There is nothing "evil" about wanting to prevent the birth of children with little chance of living. In a large family, the later children had less than a 50/50 chance of survival past their 1st birthday.

The children of the poor die from the combined effects of malnutrition and lack of medical care. The larger the family, the less food there is for each member. Children die from malnutrition and its consequences more quickly than adults do. Sanger was talking about conditions in the early part of the 20th century.

Beware of fake books intending to make her look good!! I suggest you do more research,and open your mind to the possibilty,that these people she hung out with like her,were for the New world order,and getting rid of all minorities...if you're not one,then I can't expect you to understand! The way you talk in this video is a reflection of what is in your heart, which I see is PRIDE. Pride is what leads us all to SIN. As was the case with Sanger. If you truly read everything about Sanger and her life, and still be behind her and what she stood for, then I pity you. With time, hopefully you will see what you use to be like, and be glad you are no longer, when it comes to murdering innocent life.

Pride is not a sin. Pride is justified when your accomplishments inspire others. I am not "behind everything Sanger stood for". She was opposed to abortion, I am not. She was for eugenics, I am not. However, she was a courageous crusader for reproductive rights.
