No you Do not HAVE to choose a bad trait pretty much the only thing you cant do is pick two traits that dont match. For example you cant choose athletic and couch potato.

I guess because in sims 2 the characters look more 3D and when they are giving birth it takes like 10 seconds, but in sims 3 the characters look sort of flat and it takes like 5 minutes for them to give birth. And some other stuff :D lol :)

No. I hate it when people post 'facts' when they havn't even looked into the issue. To switch between families you click options (the 3 dots) and then Edit Town. There will then be a button with 2 houses on; one larger than the other. Click it. Simple! Also, the 4 save slots are for different town, and once you have 4, an arrow becomes clickable. As far as I know, there is no limit.

As I've heard, yes. They take care of their own needs and apparently may only have to use the bathroom once or twice a day.

and umm....i have a toshiba tecra s1 i have all the sims2 expansion packs accept from OFB (didnt reeli appele to me) and one stuff pack. do u think i should uninstall the sims2 and the eps and just have sims 3 or keep it on i thought with sum1 who probs played sims2 and now sims3 may hav sum advice thanks!

7 is maximum members. So 2 adults and make the rest teens and children. Just put many beds and make them do their homework, improve their relations, etc.

I would remove Sims 2 if your thinking about buying sims 3. It's 100% better, though i was slightly disappointed that you couldn't enter alot of the community lots (such as the diner)
