Bach Violin Concerto in D minor, BWV1052R (3) by Isabelle Faust

Before the Beethoven concerto, this one was considered to be the most difficult to play on the keyboard. I spoke to Pearman who also has recorded this version and he said it was so hard to play. In this performance the artist plays a very fast tempo showing great vertuosity as well as superb musicianship.

This would make a perfect sinfonia concertante if you add a viola to play the left hand of the harpsichord.

Absolutely stunning! a masterpiece by J.S.Bach and executed perfectly by I. Faust. Why is this not performed more frequently?, I prefer this to the more commonly played Bach concerto's, wonderful as they are.
