@thecurtisreport The parlament was set today. Many think they arent realy doing shit to help the nation. Schools and hospitals are getting less and less money each year as well as many state jobs like the police, fire fighters and EMT's. Many are loosing their jobs, homes and buissneses. And more and more people (mostly young couples and families) are moving out of the country in hope of jobs that pay enough for a house, food and edducation for the kids.

it took 5 years from the nationalized banks after they got private, untill they had run the entire country into insane debt to the privately owned central banks in europe and the us.

iceland has had a parliament for over 1000 years. these people are corrupt and deserve shit instead of food thrown at them.

@thecurtisreport binno03 summarized that quite well. To give you an example: Usually, during the setting of the parliament, the police force has an honorary guard present. Today, there was no such event as the department decided that it would be too expensive and they were only there to provide security.

In my honest opinion, the wages for someone who is supposed to uphold the law and order in this country are simply humiliating.
