Very good! I thought it was great. Might want to add a little more air behind some of those notes though, seems like you struggle to get some of them out.
i like your playing, im playing this with my friend mallory as a duet. it will be with clarinet and trumpet( I know that sounds like a bad pair but TRUST me, we will make it work) we are both verry good at our instraments, maybe i will record us when we rehearse and post it as a video response
My scanner's broken, so I had to use my digital camera... If there are any songs you wanted that aren't up there, then send me a message here on YouTube and I'll post it if I have it.
What is this? I love the care bears! They rule!!!!!!They tought me to play the claronet and care. They are my BFFLTWEDBIWBWTFEATSTIHAWWBBFFLTWEBWBWTFEATSTIHAWWBBFFLTWEBWTFEATSTIH just to let you know
@LandLvideos I always thought a blue clarinet would be funky. However, mum didn't think it would be appropriate for me to have a blue one, however funky. Oh well, I guess it doesn't look great to walk into an exam with a blue clarinet, even if I'm doing jazz now instead of classical.
i'm fiddling around with how much of the beak should be in my mouth--i've been playing near the tip before but i'm putting more inside to accommodate the altissimo notes (which i cannot control very well yet)
I also have the beak way to much out of my mouth... I teached this myself and now I can't unlearn it! So don't do that... Because I can't uleran because I'm playing like that for 8 years now...
i'm sorry but you should stop letting your cheeks puff in, (it's bothering me) gay! and play stronger.. umm..on a posotive note good job with the high notes?
Woah, last year I skipped from begining to advanced too. Last year was also my 3rd year but now I've been playing for 4 years. We're at the same level. lol. :P
you do realize that's like a buck a pop right? lol.. at least if you're getting good ones. figure out what brand and size works for you best and buy packages of 5 or 10. how many years have you been playing?
oh yeah, make sure you don't ding or chip your reeds, as it's pretty much game over from there (unless you're lucky enough to keep it as a practice reed). experiment with reeds--what brand and size are you using right now?
maybe that could be your problem, though i'm not suggesting that all plastic clarinets suck--what brand is it? because there are quality plastics and then there are cheapo Made-in-Chinese-sweat-shop ones lol. Trust me, I have a crap horn too. Still, you can't always blame it on the horn; maybe your reed is bad, or your mouthpiece, or your embouchure needs work.. try asking someone in-person who knows what's going on because they can *see* the errors.
hey, where did you get the sheet music from?

U rock at the clarinet. In band at BMS I play the clarinet. Last year i had to play bass clarinet and hated it. (I like b flat better)
sportaabby10 8 months ago
@sportaabby10 Isn't bass clarinet in the key of Bb, but you just play in bass clef instead of treble?
DTrinh09 8 months ago
@DTrinh09 bass clarinet is in Bb but its an octave lower than the normal clarinet. Its still in treble clef
thedolphinkid8 7 months ago
@sportaabby10 Bass clarinet is in B flat...and to DTrinh09 it's also in treble clef =P maybe you guys are talking about a contrabass clarinet?
HollenZellis 5 months ago
@HollenZellis Yeah. The only difference between the two is Bass Clarinet is an octave lower.

This is good! Good job. But the sound you are giving off sounds like you aren't tonguing. Maybe its just me though.

nice man. how long have you been playing?
paulrosscz 2 years ago
at the time of the video i think 4 or 5 years? no private lessons, just my middle and high school band program and whenever i get downtime at home.
i think i've played clarinet for 5 or 6 years now? man, feels so long--i wish i had actually gotten good during that time lol

DTrinh09 3 years ago
Try about 4-5 bucks each if you are going to buy single reeds. A box of 10 good qualitly reeds, such as Vandoren, would be about $35.

well i got a new reed today and my clarinet was free so o.o" u got a point lol xD

I have it in a clarinet book of Beatle songs... it starts in a lower octave on my music.
LiviJones 3 years ago
@LiviJones o how much did that book cost?
rainbowgirl678 1 year ago
@rainbowgirl678
I bought it from a local music store for around $15... It has almost 100 pages of Beatle music for clarinet. I play from it just about everyday!
