  • I can't believe I can finally use toilet rolls for something. Thank you for the idea. Love it!!!!

  • Love it!! Just made 2, but I thought toilet rolls were standard size, Looks like the UAE, has smaller toilet rolls, LOL! They still turned out really nice, fatter but shorter than the die. Thank you for sharing!

  • @Craftylizette ok sounds great!

  • @BarbaraHable follow the link below this video to my blog and all the details are there :)

  • Love this idea! I haven't saved the TP rolls until now! I will use them to make these little boxes! TFS If people have a problem using TP rolls, they could use paper towel rolls, you could get two out of them. I've not used them because the mini's made with them are just too small for my taste. But to each his or her own :)

  • @Jazzyjess49 thanks I agree :)

  • I've seen these loo roll boxes before and love them. The Health & Safety rules apply to places where there is the possibility of multiple users, like public toilets, schools, hospitals, etc., etc. I can't see any problem with them in a home environment. H & S rules are going so far that we soon won't be allowed to leave our homes for fear of us catching something!

  • @2learn4ever I agree,yeah its pretty mad

  • Great box. How many kids go to the bathroom and don't even wash their hands. I don't think they would get ill from making this item.

  • @bjwlsn1 me neither! :)

  • Faaaaabbbb idea lass!!! What a great way to use up loo roll holder's & like you I pick them up & just throw them out. Love the cake as well really pretty & glad to hear thing's are beginning to dry up but it will take ages as well. Love to you & your family & as always thank you for sharing xx

  • BRILLIANT!!! You just rock! The pics of the family and what else you have been doing were cool...I actually watched this in my email....!! I have TONS of TP rolls...was keeping them for mini albums...but ..might have to break out a few for this! Sorry about the flooding and Happy Australia Day!!!!

  • I always wanted to know how make that emboss line.

    Coz i dn't have a sizzix die.

    Thanks for a lot :D

  • Love your project, thanks for sharing. I recent discovered Pintrest myself-maybe I'll see you there sometime. Thanks again.

  • I apologise for upsetting you, I am not a teacher I am a health worker who loves to do craftwork. I love your videos and just wanted to let you and others know that it would be unhealthy to put sweets or gifts that people would put into their mouths. I have also seen a lot of videos of small albums being made from toilet roll holders. There are so many Health Dept rules for things that can and cant be sold at fetes but they are not always policed carefully.

  • @Kay18J Im not upset :) don't worry about it ;)

  • i have been crocheting a lot at night to kill the Fat Monster hehehe love that ideal Super will be doing it for sure again thanks for sharing you are a busy lady and jet you still sharing your wonderful ideals with us love watching all ways love connie Hugs )))))))))))))))))

  • @QuiltingConnieB keep up the great will ;)

  • I love the idea but the use of toilet roll inserts is an unhealthy practice. They are not allowed to be used in any kind of craft or for children's craft at preschool or kindergarten at school. I know it seems silly but have a think about it when the roll is changed it is usually changed with unclean hands. The use of a cling wrap or alfoil wrap middle is preferred. The rolls from Christmas wrap is also good for this idea. I love everything you do and only posted this for your information.

  • @Kay18J I appreciate this you are obviously a teacher.......I don't plan on making this with kids and i could think of a whole lot of things that would be much much more unhealthy! I chose the toilet rolls for the reason of comparing them to the sizzix die size :)

  • love love recycling! tfs!

  • This is a wonderful idea - love to recycle! Thanks for sharing!

    Hugs, Stacy
