Ostad Allaudin Khan was born in Sibpur, BrahmanBaria District of Bangladesh. His family members were also prominant musicians in Bangladesh.

Baba was a great human being and a great artist. He was born in 1881, back then everything in this subcontinent was Indian by culture and history. Bangladesh became bangladesh much later and I don't see why bangladeshi should be seen differently when it comes to Music, Language, Culture and Tradition.
