  • very helpful...the part at 4:20 ish the 2 button tabs are a pain in the ass with all the glue ....

  • what happens if one of the keypad cables break? is there a way to replace it?

  • very nice pillow x)

  • Did you break your phone yet dickhead

  • Awesome video, the 1 problem i had was that my phone slipped out of my hands and now i have 3 touch screens ...

Thanks anyway need to buy a new phone

  • Can you replace only the grey metalic part without cause any problem to the touchscreen?

  • Does the front panel need to be replaced if the earpiece speaker stops working? Please see my comment I posted before this one. Thank you in advance for your response.

  • I have an epic 4g and my earpiece stopped working so now I have to put calls on speaker phone. Can the earpiece speaker be replaced or does the whole front screen need t be replaced?

  • Напомнил SGS II после того как сняли пластмаску.

  • zaebis

  • Very helpful. Thank you very much.

  • WHAT THE FUCK!!! WHY THE HELL DONT YOU TALK!!! DON'T UPLOAD VIDEOS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPFUL, WHEN YOU DONT EVEN SAY A SINGLE WORD. WHY THE HELL DO YOU IDIOTS UPLIAD THESE VIDEOS AT ALL!?

  • Is soldering required when changing this component? As with some HTC's it is.

  • Hmm, and I thought of changing mine just because my brother (From whom I bought mine) dropped it a few times, so the frontpanel got some bad damage, but.. Looks like I need to have a technician of some sort do this for me.. Cause I'd literally fuck mine up even more lol..

  • How to change just a digitizer of Galaxy S I 9000 ... not full LCD Display ... it's too expensive and not affordable ..ANUP

  • very useful!! I dind't know how to quit the keypad

  • Gracias m ahaa ayudado mucho sigue poniendo video d esto q m gustan

  • my i9000 screen has got an issue just yesterday! the screen was working all fine, until after sometime when I typed, it failed to respond towards the Extreme right side of the screen. I cant press P, del, and enter. Also cant press the extreme right side screen to change wallpapers etc. The rest of the screen is working flawlessly!

Can u help me in this regard? is it the sensor problem? or do i need a hard reset?

I did take out the battery and caliberated too..but no affect!

  • @BeingSamee Hi, I suggest you to send to warranty if you have. Because it may not work even replacing a new screen. If you don't have warranty then you could try some luck. J

  • @mobileprosparts thankyou for the quick reply....sending it for the repairs under the warranty...

  • Are u a girl ? O.O

  • sorry to say man, but your video sucks. I can't see a thing when you're poking around on that thing, and I've broken my screen now (or at least I think so, can't test it out since the device is broken anyway). That's not really your fault since I was stupid for poking around in there violently trying to separate the screen from the plate it's glued to, but your vid still blows. You're not giving ANY directions, it's blurry as all hell and I can't see what you're doing.

  • Ive just shattered my screen! im sending mine away! if i did what your doing id sod the whole thing up!

  • Hi, today, i dropped my galaxy S screen and broke the glass i checked and only the glass broke and cracked..the touch screen is working fine as i still can use it I plan to buy a screen digitizer on ebay to replace the screen myself, as i'm student and do not have the budget to go for an expensive replacement. So will it do if i just replace the screen myself?

  • damn.my nose is so itchy

  • would i have to change the digitzer if i change the front glass panel? the touch is working fine, only shattered glass?

  • @davouchi1 yes, you have to change touch glass and inner lcd together since they are a whole unit.

  • @imqian ok thanks

  • @imqian Has anyone tried seperating the glass lens from the LCD? On the Vibrant they are fused together, although the glass serves no purpose except to protect the LCD/digitizer. They sale just the glass on ebay, but they note it being very hard to seperate the two.

  • @imqian why is it being sold only outer glass on ebay? please help...

  • @imqian that's no fun. i have cracked glass but the touch works fine, an amoled in the bin because of cracked glass. what a shame.

  • @davouchi1 That's not true. If the lcd is working fine, you just have to change the front glass. It is a little bit difficult but very very more cheap. I changed mine and it just cost $12.00.

  • @joetwos hey yeaa that must be true because otherwise why would they sell the glass on ebay wich i have baught for mine but dont know how to assemble it or disassemble could you suggest any good tutorials or videos on how to do this plz or a walkthrough would be nice please help :) thnx

  • @joetwos How did you do this? Please send me a PM with information and link to the glass you bought. Thanks.

  • @joetwos hey how did u separate the LCD and the Glass? i can't find any tutorials anywhere. Thanks!

  • What glue do i need to put the new screen?

  • I especially like 2:12 to 4:48

Jam that driver in there. If that doesn't not work, jam it harder, per your video.

  • @HeartInSanFrancisco I meant to provided a way of helping fix the phone, and I did fix it. If this does not help you, you could just ignore it.

  • Can you change the title of this video please:

"Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) front panel and LCD INCORRECT/ABUSIVE/VIOLENT disassembly."

  • Hey, I saw this phone on eBay. Only $100. Ad title was:

"Samsung Galaxy S i9000 for Parts, Damaged (Cracked) Display"

  • You destroy the AMOLED!! 1:47 it seems to be broken

  • Use a hair dryer to heat up the glass face of the phone. It makes pealing the glue away heaps easier.

  • I'm sorry but it's useless at all.

  • Disliked, this is not helpful at all. Instead is misleading and if you use a screw driver to dissamble your phone you will damage it, people use a SAFE PRYING TOOL!

  • I'm amazed that yours came off really easily like that. Mine had a crapload of adhesive that just wouldn't budge.

  • @bleckers ... I beg to differ, it does not look like his came off easy it all. He's really jamming that metal screwdriver in there.

If anyone is foolish enough to do what this guy did, they get what they deserve, a cracked display and/or chopped ribbon cables.

  • Some text or words would be nice. At most times I have no idea which part you're poking at. So I'm sorry to say, but this is not very useful. Doesn't help me disassemble my Galaxy at all.
