  • Even my gradma can type faster on the iphone than him

  • Swype is so awful. I've used it for three months and finally downloaded Swift Key X, which is amazing. Swype has no technology to look at your writing pattern and constantly made mistakes. I always got the wrong your/you're or too/to. It always confused out/put/our/it. It was just a disaster and not customizable at all. Swift Key X knows exactly what I want to say, even when I'm only at like 25% accuracy and being super-sloppy. It has tons of custom features. Ditch Swype. Loving Swift Key X.

  • @msbunnypaws "It was just a disaster and not customizable at all."

That is just not true. I've been using Swype since the original beta version and it has always been the best typing method I've ever used for a touchscreen phone and is very easy to customize as it learns your typing and word use very quickly.. The new version is the best yet and has greatly simplified word addition.

  • fake

  • Swype is perhaps faster than the iphone to write, but we can not compare the efficiency of the iphone applications. Iphone is 10 times better. Nothing can compare.

  • Iphone's for followers. Android's for leaders! Swype dat!

  • @dmplessy qoute of the day right there!

  • @rangu66 quote*

  • Swype is faster, I have both (i900, i4) and though I can go faster on Swype (slightly since it has only one inout point at a time), I find the regular keyboard a little easier, (used to it) and more accurate. When I text names, or abbreviation (much more often while texting than full words) it almost never gets it right. Then backspace backspace backspace enter word and save it to dict. A pain

  • for all the people saying that qwerty is just as fast, if you are that retarded, i can say that i am pretty damn good swyper, but im not trying to set a record everytime i text my bitches...

the main upperhand in swype is that its effortless, and so much more satisfying. you literally glide your finger around, only lifting it between words, almost like fingerpainting. and i usually hold it with one hand using the same thumb, giving you qwerty-speed, with the much-forgotten keypad convienence.

  • @IndivisiblePrinciple

My advice: if you're trying to sound serious, don't exaggerate. While it's true that there are many reasons to get an Android phone, there are also reasons to get an iPhone. Anybody who denies that is nothing more than an Android fanboy. And I'll stand by that.

  • @ydude403 True that.

  • I just got this on my HD2...fell in love with it instantly.

  • I know the swyping guy is going slow, but the iPhone guy is:

    a) going slower than even him

    b) not using his thumbs

    c) only using the two-space/period shortcut on the android phone, but going to the menu on the iPhone

and therefore d), is obviously brain dead.

I think that qwerty is fast enough for most people, and swype is definitely no reason to switch to Android.

    y

  • @ydude403 swype should hardly be considered a reason to switch to android– considering that there are millions of more important ones.

  • 1 other way in which Android is better than iPhone....

  • i have Swype, and is better than Qwerty function.

  • I had finnished the "Hi, this is Swype" 50% faster ^^ Two Thumbs.

  • So fucking stupid. The guy on the iPhone types slow as shit. I'm easily faster than that crap. Two thumbs beat one finger.

  • iphone sucks.

  • The name song is Make me Nervous by Brad Sucks

  • swype is cool and all that...but the person who is typing on the iphone is SOOO SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @nickimickey123 Yeah but so is the swyper... I have swype and I DOMINATE on that thing

  • well at 0:40 the iphone guy backspaced... I think its a bit biased...

  • I like how the phones are placed flat on the table instead of being held. I understand that this is so you can see what's going on through the camera more easily but it makes typing on an iPhone terribly awkward. I played the video after memorizing the 25 words and raced the Swyper on my iPhone and beat him/her by almost 40 seconds. Efficient text input doesn't mean quicker input and I don't mind tapping away at my phone because it's quicker for me.

  • @DemonLemonz I forgot to take into account the empty 13 seconds at the beginning of the video. 25 seconds faster still isn't bad though~

  • STOLEN!

  • please do this again but now walking..

  • to all those saying they can type faster than this on an iphone, i can too. however, i can type even faster than that on my droid with swype. if you look carefully at the left screen, the person using swype is about as slow as the iphone user. swype makes typing more efficient, not magically faster.

  • @dainbramaged010 exactly. Thank you for being someone who understands Swype.

  • Not even a good comparison, the guy with the iPhone is a slow ass typer

  • my T9 beat this........lame

  • Mikemo. thats all i have to say. lol

  • Mikemo. thats all i have to say. lol

  • i have both and swype is faster,,,

  • when i swype iam mutch faster than this guy

  • What a turd video. please take that iPhone away from that looser. They couldn't have tried to type slower if they had to.

  • @SCALLOPED91 there typing slow on Perpouse.. to Show that swyping is faster since there both going at the same speed you idiot

  • what song is this

  • i just did this with my iphone and i beat the swype by about three words

  • Here*

  • The problem hear is they chose someone who is slow at typing on the iPhone. I'm at least twice as fast as the guy in this video myself.

  • Does anyone know the song that is being played?

  • Ok obviously the person on the iphone is typing much slower and with two hands for some reason, not sure why you would type with both hands it just slows you down. You can definitely type faster on an iphone, the touch for android sucks ( i know cause i own a nexus one) and the response time is slower and less accurate. I can understand how this would be better than the normal keyboard, but still, not impressed.

  • plss comment

  • Plz Sit Back and enjoy the video..

    Rate And Subscribe Them

    Thank you

  • is swype available for iphone?

  • yes.. i guess

  • @MrRaeezak lol no it is not.

  • @MrRaeezak No, it's not. iPhone is poo. This is just one more reason :)

  • @MrRaeezak WAHAHA...xDD
