Ofcourse the Titanium X wouldn't be available in the United States. World car my ass... I love my Titanium, don't get me wrong. But, I would like all of these features on my Focus in the States. At first, I dismissed it because we were expecting a C-segment Lincoln, but they kind of nixed that so I don't get why they wouldn't make these features available. It's just another package, I configured it on the UK website. It doesn't even really cost that much. Sigh...
WE bought the Titanium, some problems with the transmission not knowing where 1st is & doesnt change down quick enough it sorta vibrates to a stop....
@appolussa The transmission is designed to shift out of gear (into neutral) while stopped. This reduces fuel consumption. This is what you are experiencing at slow speeds when you have your foot partially on the brake. The slight delay is annoying, but it is not a defect. Drivers of manual transmission vehicles (like myself) find themselves comfortable with the transmission's operation as it works like the true automated manual that it is.
@SpiaggiaVita ive driven a lot of autos & manuals and this model is the most dislexic
not happy especially paying 40.000 and the yanks would pay what 22.000 for the same model and guess what Ozzy curency and the green back are the same worth..
@appolussa If you're referring to the US Titanium (automatic transmission), I suggest you take your car to your dealer and get the newest transmission update (TSB 12-1-4A). Technically you're not SUPPOSED to know about it, but if you tell them you're having RPM flares while decelerating like I was, you're pretty much entitled to get this fix. It drives like an entirely different car!

@appolussa The average price for Fosters Beer in Australia is 3.92 (ozzy) Versus $6 (greenback) in the states.
Sources available upon request.
And trust me, it doesn't taste any better...
