People who haven't played this game and want to need to be warned. This game is on netgame.com and is now under the new name Cloud 9 (or Cloud Nine). This will help with the agonizing frustration of not being able to play this game thinking that the installation is linking you to a wrong website.

@tobjan94 i dont know if you know or not but Holic may have shut down. Its sequel Cloudnine has been out for a while now. It is just like holic and a lot of other features.

yes, they shut it down due to lacking payment and players sadly :( it had sucha great gaming community, lots of cool ppl, costumes didn't look bad, and the battle system and everything was very understandable :(

Kid, get real. There is no such thing as "this game is copying that game" in MMORPG. They are all pretty much the same. Most of them even have the same setting, just different names of locations. Plot is the same thing, none of them have any. It's just level up, do some quests, go to the next job, which is melee/magic/range attacks. Skills are always either on 1-0 or F1-F12. Well, originality is dead amongst MMORPGs.

it was indeed because of the lag of players, last time i went on, and when GM was on, she said there are only 250 people online now. a while ago they had server lag or something i heard, i didnt play holic that time yet. the server lag lasted for like a week and eso was on CB at the same time. so a lot of people left.

if that happens, i would reboot the computer and then click start again. it usually works for me that way, hope that helps.

you need the dl for it to work, but after you log into the homepage theres a button on the top leftish that says start gameplay or somthing like that. Click that and the game will start
