  • I am a Christian therefore motivated to do "religious" or "morally right" things. All other religious systems state that you must do "religious" things to be a Chrisitan. There is nothing a human can do to deserve a Relationship with God thus the fatal flaw of the 99% of "doing"based religions. The Truth is that God reached down to man out of love so that we could have a relationship with Him through Jesus. Any healthy relationship contains more love than a to do list of fear. John 3:16

  • Satan has devised a clever trick to keep people away from the Truth lumping all religion together to make it all irrelevant. Satan does not care if people believe him, as long as they do not have a relationship with God. Cleverly, Satan orchestrated many religions thus making Truth a needle in a haystack. Every belief system reguarding deity can be divided into two categories: Doing and Being. 99% fall into things you must do. The Truth is all about being. Bible Christianity is state of being.

  • Just a note, If you believe in a god, you're religious.. o.o

  • I understand your opinion in this area. Many people think the same as you, but religion was made by man, not God. A relationship with God is what He wants, not religious practice. Religion has distorted this truth. I believe in God, not a man made list of rules called religion. Lumping different groups of people into a category and putting a stamp on them does not work. As always, your views are respected by me. Contact me if you would like to talk more.

  • @MattDOAman

I see your point, but disregarding the rules that Christianity (I'm just assuming its the Christian god you're referring to) sets out doesn't make you any less religious. The bottom line for the definition of religion is the belief in a god or deity. What is your definition of a religion, and what do you mean by a "relationship" between yourself and your God?

  • WOW! His biceps are totally impressive! It is a shame, we all make mistakes some times and it is just a shame when we make a mistake for it to have such bad consequences!

  • keep up the good work mate!

  • true strength indeed

  • great job ! :)

  • And I am so thankful for being blessed with this man as my husband. I am so proud of him. He has everything I was looking for in a man. He is just what I wanted: a man our children will look at with love and respect. There are so many men out there with all their physical abilities but with so little to offer. I would like to know how others face life after experiecing a situation like his.

  • good job

  • A veces no nos damos cuenta de lo afortunados que somos de simplemente poder entrenar...

    Much respect, train hard bro!

  • Gracias portu comentario =) Ya se lo traduje a mi esposo.

  • Inspirational...What is that song? It's righteous!

  • It is from the movie (last of the Mohicans) and it was on a Nike commercial. As an update on Dennis who appears in this video, he is now happily married and again God did some miraculous things in His life for it all to come together as He has done for me as well.

  • Hey, Matt! No doubt about God´s Hand in our stories. We must be thankful... ALWAYS.

  • Way to go man, good on you :)

  • My friend Dennis and I will always thank God. Without God, we have nothing and are nothing. No we are not religous. God does not want religion, just a relationship with us through faith in His Son (Jesus). Dennis and I hope all people would experience the love and power of Jesus and we would love to talk to anyone about Him.

  • way to go but thank yourself not god

  • Good job dude. I was in the hospital for awhile with a guy who had a similar injury like yours...so I know how much it takes to get to where you're at. Those one-arm curls are amazing. He couldn't even hardly lift his own arm without any weight back then. Keep up the great work!

  • much respect brother

  • He has all that and he's in an electric chair!!!!!

  • Good luck, dude....

  • Wow Matt , that is awesome !
