I miss Son! Used to see him at Chicago Blues in NYC. Last time I saw him was in Piermont, NY. I sat with him at the bar and we had a nice chat. He had a tough life.

Had the distinct peasure of seeing Son perform at the Chicago Blues Fest then a few years later at the Cow Palace in San Fransisco. My head still reels at his unique style and blistering solos!!! What a GREAT bluesman!

Lacy Gibson used to open up The Son Seals Show with this song.
That was the burnin'est Band I ever heard.
Buddy and Junior's Band from that period really KICKED too.
So many have left this Earth and gone on.
I'm still mourning Magic Sam and Otis Redding.
