I think Zincdink is confusing the black drum for a sheepshead. Very similar looking fish that is often mistaken for a sheepshead by those with subpar fish id skills. The fish in this vid is definately a sheepie...
Sheephead is a pogie not a drum. And I cant believe this zincweenie guy is still running around telling people its a drum. This is like the third video of sheepshead I've run across with this guy mouthing off.

were are you from? I've fished just about everywere from sc to tx and it depends on your location for wat bait to use. for instance from sc to alabama you use fidler crabs and from MS to TX you use live shrimp. carolina rig and #2 eagle claws should be fine
Sheepdhead is in the drum family because they are a salt water fish and perch is not a saltwater species

eagle claws name brand of hooks but you can use any name brand you want. i wasn't aware that sheepshead goes all the way up to CT
