hey, it takes a lot longer than a year to even remotely get good. i suggest lesson, they help a bunch. its really helped me

And I see people around me and they play like... 6 months and they play better than me, I play now one and a half year the guitar, I just doesnt wor -.-' I think I am goin to buy a bass.

just start out with the chords and once you are able to shift between chords easily (i suggest buying a poster from walmart that has all the chords on it, it helped me to start out) then move to tabs and once your able to play tabs really well then go for the scales.I suggest buying a guitar book, but not one that has tips and tricks, i mean one that has how to read music and all the scales and how to finger pick.

I have one, its the hal leonard complete guitar book, or something like that, if youreally want, i can find out for you. i really suggest lessons, im taking them for 16.50 right now

Well I think it will be difficult for you, cuz I dont live in the USA, I live in holland, and guitar lessons are very expencive.
