@zheyy popping is the hitting on the beat while dere is a snare by contracting the muscles and relexation to look like the dancer is jerking to the beat and also involves the flexibility of the body so u can see waves. Locking is the swinging and locking of arms while dere is the sounds of drums. Its involves quick movement and its right on the beat/

Well, popping is more flowing than locking. It also attacks the beat harder sometimes. But locking , is more complicated than it looks since locking hits about 80 - 90% of the beats most of the time?

I guess you could say locking is like grooving to the beat and popping is flowing to the beat. That's what I think the differences are. That's just my opinion.
