Well, he negotiated peace between Egypt and Israel and settled a long dispute between the two countrys. That was pretty clever. President Carter had many successes too. The hostage situation was settled peacefully. None of the hostages were killed or harmed thanks to President Carter.

He later backed down from his comments because the repbups. came out and said it hurts the US, and hit hurts bush's feelings, and if it hurts stupid's feelings it hurts our troops.
