Aaron,I grew up in Portland,and when I was in high school our teachers told us that if we wanted to have any chance of seeing what we voted for win,we needed to be members of the democratic party!! How little did I know how socialist this city is.I finally woke up when I saw councilmen Earl Blumenauer eliminate competition among our garbage companies,no competition,no service.Now this slime ball is one of the SCUM in Washington DC (Don't Care) pushing the democrackic adgenda.

I attended with my HS freshman son. In a bastion of liberal lunacy and an on the dole citizenry, I was heartened to see as many folks as there were. Out in Clackamas county there are more rational people (actual taxpayers).

Good point about the museum. We keep reading news stories about 10s of millions upon 10s of millions for light rail and street car projects, bike paths, walking bridges and skate parks but a museum that teaches history? forget it.
