Can some one out there tell me which one would be appropriate for a home with 2 bathrooms. It's a ranch style home so there long distances from where our old hot water tank is to... say... the kitchen. Also how do you know what to use.. propane or electric. Rest of the house is electric and there is no natural gas to the house. The Rinnai's look great but EXPENSIVE.... I love it but I love paying my MORTGAGE too!!! Please help....
If you want to save money on a tankless heater - DO NOT BUY ONE! I bought a Bosch 250SX about 18 months ago and just tore it off the wall this week and replaced it with a forced draft tank type.
Endless hot water? If you don't count the frozen coils, board failures and "hiccups" where you suddenly have the heater stop functioning halfway through a shower.
Flooded the basement 4 times due to coil freeze, and lost the main board twice in 18 months. Unreal.

Yeah, i didn't believe the hype when I heard about tank-less water heaters. More maintenance than they're worth.
