How are the necks of the alden guitars? are they smooth as epiphone or gibson necks? I've been looking for guitars, and the main thing for me at the moment is smoothness of the fretboard. Would you recommend?
Smoothness of the fretboard? All woods are different, and all pieces of wood are different. Just get something with an ebony fretboard, it doesn't have to be Gibson, Epiphone or Alden

I like these Alden's, give a lot for less money, also the Alutop is OK, bluesline Zen series.
You'll find them on Ebay Germany sometimes
