  • this is showing america in a funny way AS IT IS and not filled up with LOSERS who don't want to run a race

  • mobitapety[dot] pl/Zobacz_lukas2108[dot]html

  • co to ma być??

  • se pasaron con las estatuas

  • Nice video. But I think in Europe we have a more differentiated definition of the term 'kitsch'.

  • This is funny. So Kindergarten is not the only word which they borrowed from our german language. Kitsch is another one. I never knew that. Cool.

  • How about hamburger and lager? :)

  • Yeah ofcourse, Hamburger is another export from Germany. :)

But Lager? Since when Americans use the word Lager? Lagerhaus means Warehouse, for instance. But in which context it is used in America?

  • I have never been to America, but for sure Brits use it. What? But beer of course.

  • huh?

  • Please Visit My New Channel !!! A lot of hot Techno,Electro,House and Jumpstyle remixes are waiting for you !!!

  • I don't understand why people don't like LA - it's a wonderland!!!! : ) I love the weird restaurant at LAX too. It all looks like hannah barbara land to me!

  • I am Dutch,

Been in LAX 6 times, married in Las Vegas, visited NY, I think America is a great country, but its hard to understand the American way of life

America looks like an unreal world

then again I do love you all....

  • 1:06

    OMG !!!

  • :D right omg ^^

  • Was that Adriana Castelotti's house?

  • Is the Mutato building in there or did i miss it?! Thats a good'n

  • You say Mutato, I say Potato, let's call the whole thing off!

  • Aww! The Safari Inn...nice!

  • I love the little cottages on Griffith Park blvd, used in David Lynch's Mullholland Drive - super kitsch in that creepy Disney way!!!

  • Rambo's tacos!!hahahaaa...wonder how good they are

  • There's a really goofy mural on Franklin Street with Clara Bow in it, I think...II love the murals there, they look like really distorted verions of the celebrities - a direct reflection of how it really is there..

I love how kitsch can be incredibly surreal, and LA is the world capital of all that is surreal (in my opinion) !!!

  • I guess the mosque is only kitsch in the usa, so kitsch has a lot to do with perception

  • Kitsch does not have to be gaudy. It can be subtle also.

  • there's an awesome wikipedia article on the history of kitsch

  • LA is the greatest...i cant blieve the giant donut has survived!!!!!!!haha.

  • you're right there, LA is full of kitsch_but what's the difference between cheesy and kitsch?

  • the difference is, that "kitsch" is a german word. hehe, i must know.

  • I think that Kitsch means you know it's bad by appreciate it for the love that went into it, cheesy means that it's bad but you think it's genuinely good.

  • nothing funnier a giant hotdog

  • I agree about the car, can you imagine your mother picking you up from school in that?

  • la la land lives up to its kitchy kictchy coop.

i wanted to see things for longer. guess i'll have to watch it again. Loved shots of you finding finds. xh

  • I LOVE THE CAR SHOE

  • Fabulous tour of kitsch LA! I love this town. Thanks Allee.

  • Neat video! I see that Dear John's in Culver City made the kitsch cut --- I used to eat there every week when I first moved to LA.
