These guys were really drunk. The one in the beanie was being a total doucher and started moshing. He shoved THIS camera man (huge dreaded black guy... big mistake.) He shoved that kid so hard, it was actually funny to watch. One of them tried to get on the stage to dive. I was up front at the Gypsy Tea Room. The first song that was played was "A History Of Drunks" for a sound check. Only several people saw this. Buzz unplugged his Les Paul and walked backstage right when the song ended. Lol

1) I've been to a lot of Melvins shows. I've seen Buzz rip on people before, and it's usually people who are acting like asses. Solution: Don't act like a moron at a Melvins show. I have been to Melvins shows, I have been drunk at Melvins shows. I have been stoned at Melvins shows. I have never been such an annoyance at Melvins shows that the Melvins had to stop the show to tell me to stop being an asshat.

Sometimes security won't take care of it if it's not a danger issue, especially if it's a small show. Gypsy Tea Room is small as hell and the kid was drunk. If he's being annoyed to the point of ending the show, he has every right to put him in his place. He didn't ruin the show.

actually, he uses two boss od's. In a metal website interview he says he uses off-the-shelf stuff since things break so much on the road. His road amps are two carver power amps with Sunn preamps, and he stereos out into a 4x12 cab and a 2x15 dietz bass cab. The power amps give him individual tone/volume flexibility for diff. venues. He plays LP Custom (neck broken 5 times by airlines)- very practical

That is what I have noticed about MELVINS fans. MELVINS fans all seem to be into ALL kinds of music. I originally got into MELVINS when I was getting into bands like JESUS LIZARD,UNSANE,COWS....etc but I soon realized MELVINS were alot more than that. MELVINS appeals to me the way really highly creative and original artists appeal to me. MELVINS are like ZAPPA,COLTRANE,SUN RA,SWANS,HENDRIX,MILES DAVIS,STRAVINSKY and even in a way BRIAN ENO/ROXY MUSIC.
