I heard there are hundreds of different types of endemic orchids there. A friend of mine, who is from Ceiba, Puerto Rico, came out of there with over 20 Dendrobriums, she replanted them on her trees, on her property.
this mountain is part of Naguabo were i lived and thanks to el yunque we are always getting rain drops and thats why they call us los enchumbaos the wet ones and the entrance for el yunque is located in Rio Grande and here in Naguabo and i have been there a lot of times and it still takes my breath away for its beauty sorry for my english
its not prounonced el young and it sounds like ur not used to nature that sucks ive climbed that mountain about 5 times to the top goin again on july 20 gonna b awesome

it sounds like its hard to breathe for you. lol humidity there isnt fun. I remember i went on a jog to the top and back. Totally worth it.

umm it's not el young,,, it sound like el june-kay.. read this, and pronunce it right or closer that previously mentioned.....

pretty cool place I've been there. Climbed all the way to the highest point and those antennas which are usually obscured by dense cloud cover.
