Review: 2005 Pontiac G6

I'm trading my 95 suburban for a 05' g6. It seemed like a good trade. The car is totally clean and it has a touch screen stereo. The suburban has 220,000 miles(I got it at 100,000 and I love the thing) and the car had 120,000. I live in a mid sized town so I thought it would make more sence If I had a nice car. I also had the choice to buy a Mazda protege but my dad is just going to buy that for himself.

i got my sister a 2006 G6 and its loaded. Its not the GT or the GTP model; just a basic G6. Car comes with adjustable pedal, remote start, panaramic sunroof, pwr windows, pwr doorlocks, V6 and 16in rims & tires. Very nice, sharp looking car!

Overall, I dont think that the G6 is a bad car, but there is certainly room for improvement. My sister bought an 07 new and has put quite a bit of miles on it, and the only thing she has had issues with is suspension components, which can get expensive, but no engine issues or anything of the sort...

Well...I've owned an 05 G6 since...O5. The last time she saw a mechanic was in 05. She has about 98.000k, and hasn't caused me a single "major" problem.

The only promlems I have found are, terrible gad milage, terrible ride. (wasn't like that when new)

And shitty gm rotors. That's about it.

The car has been very good to me.

actually...i'm quite happy with my G6...the panoramic sunroof makes a little noise but not enough to bother me...and has good enough power and gets really good gas mileage...it's much better quality than my old Grand Am GT
