nice landing but I see you floated at the beginning of it. Floating devours precious runway space, so here's a method I use for a successful "floatless" landing: when you're about 100 feet off the ground inbound for the runway RAISE THE FLAPS!!!!! however, this will generate more speed. To get the antonov to land, it needs to stall right before you hit the runway. To keep the speed low, bring the airbrakes down 25% this will slow you back down ad help you descend to the runway.
@misterrandompancake by now you should be right over the runway. Bring full airbrakes and when you touch down, apply the brakes first. When you hit 100 knots, then apply full flaps. If you apply them too fast, the plane could go back into the air.
@misterrandompancake I think you might have to take a look in your ''Landing for dummies'' book once again, because that's not a way of landing an airplane. Very unrealistic about the flaps. By the way, the floating in this video is just overflaring or how we student pilots call it '' ballooning''
Since I've heard "Up is Down" for the first time I imagined how awesome it would be watching an plane taking off or landing using this track as backround music... Now i know:
It just legen - wait for it - dary. Had goose bumps till the end. You really made my day - thx a lot for sharing!!!
