@mantisce just my opinion. Various forms of RnB, Hip Hop, Rap, and anything created to solely entertain isnt music to me. There are actual musicians out there writing brilliant melodies and patterns i.e Abysmal Dawn, etc. and then there are people who write shit and call it music. To me music should have technical intelligence, and being a musician why not push your theoretical limits? Dun get me wrong i dun just listen to metal, i also listen to classical, various forms of jazz, and country.

This is more modern, and they dun really sound like CC more like Dying Fetus, and break music down in a technical manor and think of the scales they used to create a certain pattern. You'll soon find that death metal reigns above all and poser bands use simple patterns.
I just hate when bands are misclassified as a that stuff. Like The Black Dahlia Murder is sometimes, and Im like have you heard Nocturnal there's nothing deathcore about that. But good bands from that genre are Through The Eyes of The Dead, Animosity(i dont really think there deathcore in the popular sense, they have lots of old school hardcore/thrash influence), Whitechapel, All Shall Perish.
Alright, to set things straight. If any of you relate BMTH to Whitechapel. You are listening to music for all the wrong reasons. It is about lyrics just as much as everything else. Whitechapel isn't typical deathcore. BMTH is about sucking dick and chicks. Basically everything retarded scene faggots like. Whitechapel is about ripping preachers in half and bashing Christianity. @mantisce just my opinion. Various forms of RnB, Hip Hop, Rap, and anything created to solely entertain isnt music to me. There are actual musicians out there writing brilliant melodies and patterns i.e Abysmal Dawn, etc. and then there are people who write shit and call it music. To me music should have technical intelligence, and being a musician why not push your theoretical limits? Dun get me wrong i dun just listen to metal, i also listen to classical, various forms of jazz, and country.

@Bullet4mahValentine well actually Cannibal Corpse is one of the earlier brutal death metal bands. This is more modern, and they dun really sound like CC more like Dying Fetus, and break music down in a technical manor and think of the scales they used to create a certain pattern. You'll soon find that death metal reigns above all and poser bands use simple patterns.

I just hate when bands are misclassified as a that stuff. Like The Black Dahlia Murder is sometimes, and Im like have you heard Nocturnal there's nothing deathcore about that. But good bands from that genre are Through The Eyes of The Dead, Animosity(i dont really think there deathcore in the popular sense, they have lots of old school hardcore/thrash influence), Whitechapel, All Shall Perish.

Alright, to set things straight. If any of you relate BMTH to Whitechapel. You are listening to music for all the wrong reasons. It is about lyrics just as much as everything else. Whitechapel isn't typical deathcore. BMTH is about sucking dick and chicks. Basically everything retarded scene faggots like. Whitechapel is about ripping preachers in half and bashing Christianity.
