Most t drainages /gutters in 70769 are clogged. i face the same problem in my yard also when there is serious rain. Let the County/ parish improve on that .

This was a wicked rain it rarely gets high like that. I was just lucky to video it with rain and with out. I would love it here if it werent for the jungle heat but other than that it is a good place to dwell.

The land we live on we have under an acre wife has lots of land but it is family stuff all I care about is what we live on. It is a pleasant place as long as the storms stay away we can do without them. I just want to pay this off and build a storm/tornado/fire/poverty/res­istant home like a dome or a concrete home thats all then we can live happily ever after.

This water isn't standing it is flowing we are on the high ground. Last time we saw it like this we had a tropical storm rain on us for 5 days. Katrina didn't even come close to this volume.

Look in my videos and you will see whe way the yard looked during just a hard rain 24 hours ealier. This flooding was an unusual event we hardly ever get water across the entire yard it will run off.

This is a rare event we bought in this neighborhood b/c it handled a flood from a tropical storm that flooded most of the parish. We are kind of on a hill so to see flooding is cool.
