That math doesn't add up that he has been passed up 6 times for the HHOF. He played his last NHL game in 2003, and IIRC the waiting period is 4 years after retirement to get on the ballot. Meaning that he wasn't eligible until 2007, which would be 5 times he was passed up.

Even though I hate the Canucks, Bure should be in the HHOF (as a Panther. :-x)

He did score the highest goals per game and percentage of goals on a team, in an era where goal scoring was pretty much non existent. If Bure was still playing in today's game I think he would be amazing, much like Jagr is right now. He should be in the HOF for sure.

Bure usually was waiting at the red line, waiting for a breakaway pass when his other teammates were defending. I find it pretty disrespectful that bure didnt defence at all, cause if u wanna be a hall of famer all your attributes have to be very good, also your defensive skills.
