  • All you 14 playa hata's [All you bitches DJ FFNY The Dome intro]

  • Oh where oh where is my underdog gone....sweet Polly Purebread......bring 'em all back so that me and my grand kids can enjoy them...keeping it true to the old school

  • Roger Ramjet's Proton-Pills are much more powerful than Underdog's super-energy pills... they give him the power of 20 atom-bombs for 20 seconds!

That's the equivalent of 20 kilotons of TNT per second!

    Bye Underdog LOL

  • oh thank you so much i haven't seen this for like 10 years !!

  • One of the city's most humble and lovable characters was Shoeshine Boy.

    All finished sir.

Thanks Shoeshine boy. You're humble and lovable.

    Bless you, sir.

Little did anyone know that whenever there was a call for help, "Help!...Help! Help!" Shoeshine boy became in real life Underdog.

  • the movie sucked

  • great theme song.

  • AWESOME!

  • Best kid's cartoon theme song ever!

  • One of my favorites as a child. The theme song was very catchy.

  • Nickeladeon lives!!!

  • SCRUBS!!! XD

  • i remember when i watched this when i was little!!!

  • cool

  • I use to go home for lunch from school I think around 12 o clock. And I use to look at Underdog.Wow this brings back memories of 40 year's ago.

  • Riff raff was my favorite villian! He was a copy from the t.v. show the "untouchables' Frank Nitti!

  • u2bjudge

    UNDERDOG Cartoon Intro

  • My Heart Goes Out to Under Dog

  • WU-TANG CLAN AINT NUTHING TA FUCK WIT!

  • @patrickthadude Was waitin 4 someone to say that....

  • Bar Sinister and 12 of his henchmen disliked this video

  • Man, Underdog could be kind of a douche sometimes

  • Jay Ward was ahead of his time with the type of humor in his cartoons. Hoppity Hooper ,Fractured Fairytales,Aesop fables ,Mr. Peabody and Sherman,George of the Jungle,Tom Slick,Super Chicken. Quaker Oats ad campaigns of Capt Crunch,Quisp and Quake. I don't know if he created the Colonel though,it looks like his style. yeah Tennessee Tuxedo,Go go gophers, and Klondike Cat.

  • Always loved underdog, my kids look at it now and say " really mom"!

  • cool intro..im too young to remember any of these episodes..so its cool its on YT.

  • Guess what sexual position Polly Purebread prefers.

  • Lol Scrubs got more thumbs up.

  • Why couldn't Underdog get with Polly Purebread, I don't even think he ever got a kiss from her. Even Mighty mouse got a kiss or to from his girl friend.

  • man, this was my dad's fav show when he was little! and i love it as well and i'm 14! ya, Underdog is my fav hero of them all. my other 2 favs are Atom Ant and (i know this is kinda more present-like) Danny Phantom. but seriously, would it kill Boomerang to show Underdog? well, at least they started to show Atom Ant again. also, i know this is random, but Boomerang needs to show Secret Squirrel again.

  • @DPGIRL9 i agree with all of that

  • @DPGIRL9 i agree with all of that

  • This show blows. There's too much talking from the chatty narrator who has to explain EVERYTHING that doesn't have to be explained to the audience, Simon's plans are really simple, and there's too many lines of dialogue that are said too often.

  • Damn my dad still has a comic of underdog

  • Check out

    '01 Underdog Cartoon 2011'

  • Awesome show, i grew up with this since i was 9 back in 91 when they aired aired this on Nick. Underdog sounded like Matthew Brodrick and Sweet Polly Purebread was hot.

  • Man the audio was horrible back then.

  • such a great amazing theme, one of the best cartoon themes of all time

  • Glorious theme !

  • it's just a dog

    superman rippoff

  • you dont see evil villians like these anymore

  • Video Treasures (Now Anchor Bay Entertainment) Released Several Videocassettes Of The Underdog Show Beginning With Vol. 1 (In Tandem With Classic Media)

  • 8 people got PWNED by Underdog after taking his super energy pill

  • What they're trying to say is "He's one bad mother... " "Shut your mouth!"

  • It's one of the best cartoon intros ever

  • love this cartoon

  • Love this old Sixties toon. For thirty minutes mom never had a problem outta me! They really knew how to write theme songs in those days too.

  • Just here because of Scrubs. Who else?

  • @YukiNyaa I'm too :D ted's band is brilliant, isn't it?! :)

  • This is the good stuff here!

Not like the stupid stuff that passes as cartoons these days :/

Not to mention they ruined the movie as well =/

  • Underdog Ultimate Collection DVD set is just awesome. Saturday morning cartoons will never be the same. And Im still waiting for HR Pufnstuf complete series release in April.

  • i love this

  • I love the beat of this song. And the lyrics are great! If criminals won't fear the law, it takes the spirit of a vigilante (human, dog, chipmunk or otherwise) to strike them down.

    \8-D

  • This is a different opening, lyric-wise, than the one I remember, which started off: When in this world the headlines read---of those whose hearts are filled with greed---and rob and steal from those who need---the call goes out with blinding speed for UNDERDOG, the rest was the same.

  • I wonder why criminals want money so much. They would just steal other things like, I don't know, a TV or iPod without needing any money if they already have weapons.

  • God Damn have'nt seen that show since the late 70's early 80's.

  • Thumbs up if you remember this from Scrubs.

  • @sega31098

I only watched this because of scrubs! :)

  • @sega31098 Thumbs up if you remember this from the original cartoon first.

  • @TheBlues8820 damn straight

  • one of, if not the coolest cartoon theme of all time IMHO!

  • @jericoparazo Coincidentally, it's actually the WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN. It's painful to watch, and a horrible abuse of the license. Needless to say I don't recommend it.

  • @ExecuteRobot - I feared as much. Movies made to capitalize off good feelings from when you were a kid are seldom any good.

It's the only reason I never went to see/bought/or rented the movie. I don't want my wonderful 8-year-old-kid memories of Underdog ruined by an awful movie version of it.

  • @ohhhwolfy I also had good memories of this toon as a kid. As soon as I saw the movie previews, I could sense it wasn't going to be any good, so I didn't even bother going to see it!. From what I've heard about the movie, I'm glad I didn't see it!

  • @jericoparazo We like to forget it ever happened.

  • I like how Riff Raff is in black& white, like an old gangster from a 1930's Warner Bros. movie. LOL.

  • My best friends dad wrote this cartoon and the music. He was very pleased with the movie they made a couple of years ago.

  • the first time i heard thos intro, was in Scrubs. i never knew about this show.

  • @SuckerGamer Me too :)

  • I know that you guys who grew up watching Underdog are so furious about the movie... but you have to admit, Hollywood just loves to exploit our childhood, and make the product horrible in the process.

  • houston texas back in the 70's.my younger brother & i would watch this before we go to school in the morning. classic.

  • damm this bring back memories..this was on after rusty and bulwinkle

  • @RELOADiNuRfACE - ROCKY and Bullwinkle....

  • "There's no need to fear! UNDERDOG is here!"

  • @kohstamojahn lol, in the movie credits there were bloopers and he said, "there's no need to fear, UNDERWEAR is here!!!" XD I lol'd SO hard!!! ROFL

  • I love the show Underdog.

  • OMG I still know the theme song words! I remember a couple of the Villains, Simon Bar Sinister(Typical mad scientist whose catch phrase was " Simon says" ) and Riff Raff a ganster wolf ina pin striped suit! classic , thanks for posting

  • @doch1961 You forgot Cad. An accomplice to the evil mobs.

  • OMG I still know the theme song words I remember a couple of the Villains, Simon Bar SinisterTypical mad scientist whose catch phrase was " Simon says" and Riff Raff a ganster wolf ina pin striped suit! classic , thanks for posting

  • Rich Guy, shine finished, handing over coin: "Shoeshine Boy, you're humble and loveable."

SSB: "Bless you, sir." [Bites coin to test see if it's a worthless slug]. LOL

  • good old cartoons.....i miss them

  • I'll never forget Wally Cox as the voice of Underdog. You only heard him in this cartoon ... and when you saw him on Hollywood Squares!

  • @tritonrocks He was on Beverly Hillbillies too. He acted like a birdwatcher for the eps he was on.

  • thumbs up who looked this up when ted's band sang it

  • ahh memories :)

  • Underdog was my childhood hero!

  • My high school's band used to play the "Underdog" music at games when the team was the underdog. Very effective.

  • just LOVED this cartoon as a kid. Used to watch it before school! Ah, the good ol days! I always thought Sweet Polly was a PEST. LOL!

  • @99augie ur not a kid? r u an adult? or a teen?

  • LOL! I'm old enough to be your mother! I'm 45! I lived for Underdog & Courageous Cat (and Minute Mouse). Watched them in the a.m. & then off to school!

  • Why Disney made this into a live action B-Movie I will never know. It would been better if they just made it into an 2-D animated movie instead of what we see now.

  • @AuronTsubaki85 I think it would have been better if they kept to the spirit of the cartoon. A universe where animals and humans co-existed.

  • just knew the theme song from scubs xD

  • I love that show until rocky & bullwinkall pull underdog off the air . I like underdog more than rocky&bullwinkal .

  • What episode is that from at the part where Underdog is tied up in a white flag and rolls around?

  • I would love to see a CGI Underdog movie. I would not want a beagle wearing a dish towel around his neck. Which is what we got...

  • Incredible piece of well written music, really gives off a creepy tension feel at the beginning...kind of wonder if Black Sabbath was inspired by it when they wrote the intro to Faries wear Boots

  • @MightySaturn5 jeez, you're right!!........hmmmm, come to think of it, Ozzy would probably make a good villian for Underdog!!.........

  • Allen Swift has passed away. The voice of Simon BarSinister and Riff Raff.

  • I used to watch it every morning with my dad and id wake up sooo early just to watch it...best memories ever.

  • thats exactly why i picked that name.. from that song.

    Loved Underdog!!

  • God 50 years ago

  • I love it!!! this cartoon brings me back to my childhood. Thanks for posting this.

  • @bigfinewoman u abig fine woman won't u back that ass up. couldn't help it. lol. i used to love this too though

  • oh my god i miss underdog on tv so much !

  • @ladydragon767 then you should live here with us. we're sanctuary. Geeks are protected, and raised on a pedestal here. believe it

  • I started watching Underdog when I was 4 years old while eating peanut and jelly for lunch in 1971.

  • @soad4ever95 1971? :O! Im 15 years old and I remember me watching Underdog when I was 5 years old in 1998

  • @XxJvanKunxX Epic mathmatical sense there, mate

  • @Quaterno lol I mean...16 ._. and yeah it still seems to be a fail but... my Birthday is in December... ._.

  • I watch this every sunday on my home staion called metv.

  • This classic could never be shown on tv anymore.

  • hong kong phooey would beat up underdog. i understand underdog can fly but hong kong has the chop.

  • I agree, Underdog movie was stupid and the dog was a beagle, it didn't even resemble him, talk about effortless.

  • WOW, Simon Bar Sinister was one bad bad ass criminal

  • @Planktontwo - I'm surprised no one has mentioned the TRUE meaning of "Bar Sinister". In ancient heraldry, a "bar sinister" which appeared diagonally on a coat of arms meant that the person's parents weren't married when he was born. In other words, the creators were calling Simon a bastard!

  • @Planktontwo Riff Raff is more badass than Simon he's KICKASS too!

  • i use to watch underdog, rocky and bullwinkle, and popeye when i was very young....brings back memories

  • CarlosCoy: And ONLY the Popeye movie with Robin Williams was true to its source (the musical version of the Segar canon), which tells one something.

  • i listened a version on tv as opening. there are differenties in "Speed of lightning! Roar of thunder! Fighting all who rob or plunder! " parts and the other parts are same. Does anybody know that ?

  • having the same problem here man... if u find it let me know...

  • There are two openings. This one, with Simon Bar Sinister and one with Riff Raff. I am going to try and post the Riff Raff one.

  • un po cupa per un cartone animato

  • I remember seeing Underdog dubbed into Sotho in South Africa a while back

  • Classic!!!

  • Disney is monumental at screwing up other people's stuff. For example, you have Underdog, Bullwinkle, George of the Jungle and anything they do with the Muppets. I don't know if they just don't care, or they just don't get it.

  • @folkmus You are so right about that. If that movie was animated, it would have been a better deal. Live action wasn't good enough for Underdog.

  • @littlemssunshine2010 Agreed, absolutely :)

  • Comment removed

  • @folkmus Don't get me started. It pretty much went the same retarded route as Alvin and the Chipmunks. Speaking of which, The Squeakuel?! Are you retarded?!

  • Underdog. The little Jonny Quest, in terms of use of music.

  • Wally Cox (voice of Underdog) and Marlon Brando room togehter when both where unknown actors. After Cox died Brando got the ashes of Cox

  • That is the most interesting thing I have heard in quite a while. Thanks for sharing that info.

  • Sweet Polly was hot!!!!

  • It's killer my band is playing this song in our marching show

  • Loved this show. The theme song still sticks with me.

  • If anyone can find the one shot cartoons about Cauliflower Cabbie, AKA The Champion, and Gene Hat Tree, I'd like to see these again.

  • i remember watching this in my childhood... and they made it into a movie...

  • My Brother use to love this show. Smiles.

  • Hi there, I don't know who sings this fabulous theme song, but I love it as much now, as I did when I was a kid! That goes for my favorite canine hero too! Underdog can rescue me any time. Thanks for the memories. Keep up the great posting.

  • this is the coolest cartoon! Action and comedy!

  • who sings this song??? AND ITS NO THE SPOONS!! OR BUTTHOLE SURFERS OR KYLE MASSEY!!! PLEASEEEEEE tell me!!! i BEG of u!
