@besakamel Gears 1 is somewhat worthwhile (for a 2006 game) but I played that on PC, Gears 2 was a HUGE letdown. Mass effect 2, also great, but it's a PC game first, Xbox 360 game last.

360 only is remotely worthwhile if you are too weak to ever give PC gaming a try.

@besakamel Yes, Mass Effect 2 IS much better at native 1080p as you get on PC. Gigantic screen is irrelevant if it's at crappy 720p with juddering and tearing framerate, my comp monitor is huge BTW, monitors you can get big and high quality for fraction of HDTV price.

The only significant difference between XBL and PSN: one costs $60 per year. Look at this objectively man, XBL is a rip off.

PC version also has VERITABLY less lag, far better frame (which is like a slide-show on 360), worse textures. In every aspect the game is better.

Halo is good but there's no possible way you could state halo + gears 2 (again, gears 1 doesn't count) outweighs ALL PS3 exclusives unless YOU were the fanboy, overvaluing the Xbox 360 out of twisted Brand-Loyalty.

They end up having to battle three Lambent versions of that fucker in Anvil Gate carrying an army of hundreds of Lambent creatures each. At one point Marcus comments he doesn't think the chainsaw will cut it this time refering to this battle. It take a HELL of a lot to kill those things from the outside: one (the SMALLEST one) is killed by a Raven gunner (same Raven Marcus and Dom boarded at the end of the game) unloading all of the Raven's ammo into its head.

@DigimonFan1 The second one is killed by a combined torpedo attack from two subs and the last is killed by Marcus and Baird with the Hammer of Dawn after luring it into a trap. That one was damn difficult to kill as it kept moving around preventing a solid lock on it. Baird (who was doing it since Anya was off fighting) did his best and got it, but caused severe damage to the base as the laser was fired close to shore. Baird doubted (probably rightly so) Anya couldn't've pulled that one off

Gears 2 was for the casual - just think on it. You hold B to defeat Skorge, this boss, AND the giant worm.

Gears 3 looks to be for the hardcore, but also very fun. Which is awesome.
