If you add weight under the nose it flies forward too. My Desert King Picoo Z came with three bits of aluminium tape to use as weights, might add more though. Flies great.

use the trim! just keep pushing the opposite direction its spinnig until it flys straight, it doesn't have to perfect, thats what the steering is for!

hey rraadi , yeah i got some good speed out of it but its all just the weight at the front , i put enough weight i it that it virtually just gets airborne . Another little secret to give it speed spurts is to back off throttle a bit then power on cause when you power down it nose dives giving you more heading angle then the power on throws it forward .

I bin flying for like over 20 years so just becomes habbit but thanx for the comments

hey bloke , the main rotors have a common problem ofcomming loose on the shaft which cause no lift and also an untrimble spin , you have to slightly slide the rotors back up the shaft for them to get a better lock ... if that makes sense

i have one of these, they are fun but they use batteries like crazy. can i use rechargeable batteries? they are only 1.2v unlike a regular 1.5v AA. i just dont wanna break it

I use rechargeable batteries in mine and it seems to be ok so far, although it does say not to in the manual, so not sure. Also when charging it, it only uses the first three batteries in the transmitter, so you can swap them with other three regularily to get more out of all six, or when it seems there is not any juice left, bin the first 3 and put the other 3 in their place and get three new ones in spots 4,5 and 6 etc etc.

Is yours an original picoo or a copy . I know now there are soooo many different brands outthere for under $30 and they are not as good as the originals , ive tried a few of them and no luck .

As far as speed , more weight in the front ( being realistic with not making it too heavy to take off ) then it will go faster .

well i dont recomend screws or anything that would change the physical form of the helicopter but instead try tape so it wont damage the helicopter

yeah , fair call rob but not convenient when you like to play with different forward momentum weights . I have 3 screws in my charging compartment on the remote that i simply swap depending on the flying i want to do so in terms of that , it beats sticky tape any day . Ive had some weights in there that have really propelled this thing forward ... lol .

thanx taoist flyer . balance was just finding the right weight screw cause I played with heaps and they made it either too fast or not fast enough ( simply screw it into the nose of the foam to give more farward motion ). as far as tweeking it , I converted it to channel c as I find ( any many more did as well ) that the resnse is better .
