I'm a little confused on whether Melodyne is a real plugin that can be put into an insert of an audio track (like Autotune) or whether you have to use it as as an external app and import/export audio it via melodyne bridge or rewire... Can someone clarify that for me please?

@TheCrystalyne Melodyne is a software. Its not like auto tune. Although you can use auto tune in melodyne. but it is more of an external app as you have said. :) I hope i helped!

Anywhere between 240-300 dollars, but that's Melodyne Plugin, the version that is discussed here. Melodyne Essential and Uno offer less options and are cheaper, Melodyne Cre8 and Studio are more advanced and are more expensive. I just ordered my Melodyne Plugin - can't wait!
