Bernhard, danke fürs Kompliment. Es lohnt sich, Dein züchtendes Diskuspaar mal vorübergehend vom Schaubecken in ein Extrabecken zu setzen, die Jungenaufzucht bei diesen intelligenten und hochsensiblen Fischen beobachten zu können ist einfach sensationell.

Sehr schönes Video, besser als 90 Prozent der Fernseh - Dokumentationen, weiter so!

Bis zum schlüpfen kann ich das live zu Hause erleben, danach ist bei mir allerdings schluss ( Schaubecken mit Beifischen ).

great work. what ph do you have your water in because i have 6 girl discus in my aquarium all trying to breed with the lone male and when he does breed with them i see the fry hatch but they dissapear. i think they die instantly.

@dadecountyalan - I think, waterquality is the kingpin of driscusbreeding. I prepare the water with an osmosis-system. The ph is around 5.0, and I germinate the water with an UV -light-system, water is perfusing ever, to prevent bacteria befalling of eggs. Important - I replace 1/3 of the water every day. Good luck!

no ICH; Air bubbles of the air diffusor near there, opened fast at this time, and of the recently renewed water. 0:27, right fish mouth = white point, at 0:29 it´s away, resp. at the other side of the mouth. also at the femals bottom side. The air diffusor in the back of tank can be seen at 5:32.
