Ok...now I'm totally confused... Where is Sally? If this is an archie comic, then where is Sally? Isn't it part of STH with SU, or is this some AU story or somthin'? Now I really don't know who came first for sure... Amy or Sally...

It is Archie but its based on the Sonic X anime and has nothing to do with STH or SU. Also, to answer your question: TECHNICALLY Sally came first. In the very first Sonic game one of the animals you save is a squirrel named Princess Sally, but the Eng names are different from the Jap names. Amy makes the first official appearance in CD, but her name was mistranslated into Eng as Sally. Also, Sally is an Eng made chara, she doesn't actually exist in Japan or game-verse.

You misread what I wrote. In Sonic 1 the various animals that you save from Robotnik (badniks and capsules) all have names. The Eng and Jap manuals have them listed under separate names, Eng one the squirrel is named [Princess] Sally. Also, when Amy appeared in CD her name WAS mistranslated as Sally. AGAIN, Sally is an Eng chara and doesn't exist in Japan or in game-verse.

Sally is a chipmunk though otherwise she would have a huge fluffy tale as a squrrel. You know, like Foamy? So that squrrel then has no relation to the chipmunk Sally.
